I have yet to play any of the Uncharted Series. Worth starting from the beginning? Or could I start from 3 and not be completely lost.
Easily one of THE best series I have ever played. Yes you really need to start at the beginning with Uncharted 1 or you will have no idea whats going on with the 2nd or 3rd game. The entire series is phenomenal. If you have never played Uncharted, you are missing out on one of THE best campaign series in history. The storyline, voice acting, fluid gameplay, graphics, facial expressions, action, puzzle solving, water, water reacting effects, everything is top notch. I love how the cinemas blend right into the gamplay. This series is better than anything on the 360. Imagine something kinda like Tomb Raider but a million times better. This is easily GOTY so far. Its going to take one heck of a game to top this for GOTY.

Yeah I've heard really good things about the series. But I guess it's like Metal Gear where you had to start from the beginning to get it. How long is the playing time to beat the games? I've just spent 200 dollars on games in the past 3 days so I'd rather buy the first one used. Then spread it out lol

I think each Uncharted campaign is about 8-10 hours on average. Thats if you push through it fairly quick. If you take your time or get stuck on a puzzle, its much longer.

Ahh ok. I might just get the first for now since I'm going to be playing loads of Battlefield and F1 2011 lol.

Thats a good idea. Get the first (probably very cheap now) and see if you like it. If you like the first you will love the rest of the series.

I just read that if you do UC3 on Easy, and skip the cutscenes, you can do it in 3 hours.

I don't skip the scenes so the game is indeed taking longer for me.

I cant even comprehend beating Uncharted 3 that fast. I dont even know how it would be possible. Maybe they found some areas that skip entire battles or shortcuts? Someone sure as heck would not beat it that fast on their first playthrough. Not even on easy. I am also not playing on easy.

By the way, another game I'm looking forward to is Diablo III. Looking forward to that more than any game in recent years, to be quite honest. A 2011 seems a bit unlikely, though... Nobody else interested in it?

Ill be looking forward to guild wars 2, Diablo I and II where cool, but Diablo needs to get with the times!
