This makes sence, disguising updates as promotional content updates...

Perhaps less people will need to "eat their hair" and "shave their eye brows" if we assembled a list of major events that could pertain to GT...

Like major race events (Daytona 24 in a few weeks) or other auto shows... Hmm

Priority for PD is to fix all the online bugs in this game. Mostly the pit ''stop bug''.

For those who don't know, if you pit for new tyres you are for some reason more that 2 sec per lap slower after the pit stop. (?)

Curently online mode is a joke. I really hope they are on it, becouse many of my racing buddies stoped playing GT lately. PD needs to take care of it fast or they will be losing huge numbers of players.

I'm very interested in the BMW M4 interior. The Toyota is just another concept but if they announce all of the Toyota mr2 are premium now that would be pretty awesome :)

I'm not betting on it happening until it's announced and confirmed (or it could be a surprise, who knows :D ) but I hope 1.03 brings along some of the Community Features and the return of Shuffle Racing.

Still, that FT-1 is a DAMN fine looking car, and it's nice to see that the M4 will be getting it's interior now. Does make you wonder if the Mercedes VGT will at some point aswell (Likely when the manufacturer has it ready to give to PD.)

Then, the only 1.03 features are BMW interior,Toyota and big fixes??? I hope there will be much more content......sorry for my English and hello to all from Spain!

Show you?

No.

That ground has been covered elsewhere on GT Planet. Use the search feature if you missed something.

I personally was promised nothing but as a customer, just like yourself, I will tell you what was / is suppose to be included but isn't:

Track editor

New community features: organize clubs, communicate in forums and host race events for members.

Not to mention the pipe dream musings of Kaz over 7 point suspension testing tools and phone apps that interact with the game.

No one is as so banally stated "butt hurt".

And from an administrator...

And a legitimate statement followed by an insult

I don't know why the current culture dictates bullying and shouting down of views and ideas that don't agree with our own.

It would be nice for a forum to rise above personal attacks and name calling and instead debate and even argue in a manner befitting civilized men and women.

I for one will not personally attack those that disagree with me but instead take the high road and only debate ideas.

As for this update, let's hope everyone will be satisfied with its content.

Ive been waiting for the course maker and all of the new features to the mp mode.. atm the mp mode is less than gt5 so of course alot of people are waiting, alot of leagues are waiting for the update to start up too..

It 2was said to be during january so again its not suprising if some ppl are dissapointed, now that there is an update due and it seems to be just a car..

And thats my opinion ;)

I expect (pray?) to see fixes for the custom rims and pit stop bugs as well as cockpit lighting/visibility issues. More cars doesn't do anything for me until PD fixes the major outstanding bugs.

Not attacking but just curious, if the game is to short and to easy and the seasonals don't offer a challenge then WHY play the game let alone buy GT6 or post on a forum about future updates that may not be promising?

Here is a good reason to buy DLC: ya like what's offered and want to drive it or drive on it. Take the Aventador in GT5. It's was cool, loud, shinny and a Lambo. I didn't need a practical application for it like it was necissary for some specific purpose.
As I said in other threads. GT6 is still worth the price of admission. I'm still going to buy it and play it.. That doesn't mean that GT6 is anywhere near as good as it could be or should be.

The career mode is incredibly short.. The Ai are dumb, brake check you in corners, and give you back time, sometimes 7 seconds a lap or more to let you catch up even if you choose a slower car so you can have a challenge. At least you could still do that in GT5.

Kaz always admitted A-Spec was bad and he wasn't happy with it in GT5. I thought maybe he'd fix that.. I think they still might, it is possible that they might add more events, championships, etc... I guess you can hope.

They need to update more standards, fix the suspension height as MM and not inches, and this custom Tire width issue
Updating more standards would be nice but I doubt we will see it any time soon if at all.
The suspension height thing is a minor nuisance at best and it definitely not a pressing matter, would not matter if they never address that.
Tire width issue needs to be addressed, hopefully soon.

The big thing that they need to do is get the community features and quick match online ASAP. IMO this is more important than any of the minor issues in what we have at the present time. We also need to get some type of leaderboard system. It just boggles the mind to think that a racing/driving game that has online access does not have a real leaderboard system in place. It is a very important feature to a lot of fans and players and needs to be in all games of this type.

After this I would like to see the data logger, event creator, course maker, B-Spec as well as issues being addressed along the way

So the information is out now, no more speculation is needed. Bet there will still be complaints from people as now apparently some are just plainly going after other members and attacking them.

The best is not to buy the game. It must be the only way to really put pressure on PD and Sony. Like EA and Battlefield 4...stockowners pissed, and now : http://www.theguardian.com/technology/gamesblog/2013/dec/20/ea-battlefield-4-lawsuit time to actually release complete games and not having to download gigabytes of updates day 1.

v1.00 contains no Red Bull events, no National B Freshman Cup, no National A Gornergrat League and no International B Midnight Racers. v1.01 brought 9 extra races to the career mode structure and v1.02 added the Red Bull events, currently standing at 9 more races but without the star awards the rest of the career mode contains.

What I am referring to is large DLC packs that extend 'career mode' a substantial amount. Sort of like what some were thinking "Spec 3" in GT5 might have included. Kaz talked about extending A-Spec in GT5, but it never materialized beyond seasonals.

What you mention above gives my some hope that they might do that for GT6 in the future since it can obviously be done in GT6. I'm not talking about a few races here and there a week after release. I'm talking about doubling or tripling the size of the career mode through DLC, even paid DLC. For instance, if part of the extension of career mode used DLC cars, and DLC tracks that are not included in GT6 at this time. That would "give me a reason" beyond MP, to buy the DLC.

Patience is a virtue :D

Just take your time for a minute (maybe skip a post or two) and go visit : http://www.gran-turismo.com/gb/products/gt6/

There is a list of features that are included in the game and also a list of features yet to come via updates .

Updates > key word here .

Now , if someone promised you something ...

Finally 1.03! :D I hope they fix some bugs other than add cockpit to M4 and the new car, it's what this game needs prior to B-Spec, true Endurances and Track Editor.

Oh gosh, but this means I'm forced to record & upload on my youtube channel the hotlaps i did today... Oh dear, a long evening awaits me...

Yes, because BMW would pay a ton of money to get an interior view into a game and it would have a profound effect on sales .

No, they did it because this was the most important update on their list..yeah money didn't play any part at all.
Sorry im using irony, but really you must understand that this is pure marketing from BMW.
