User created tracks in GT Sport?

For reasons I was browsing the online manual for GT Sport, and I noticed this:

This is mentioned in the manual pages for creating a lobby, and I haven't searched elsewhere in the online manual for anything related. I don't even know if this has been here always, but I was unable to find anything related to it via a quick Google search. One person I showed it to suggested that it might be leftovers from GT6, but checking that manual it only mentions user-created tracks available for Free Run and Arcade modes, not online lobbies.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is it a sign that some kind of track editor is headed to GT Sport in the (near?) future? Or is it in relation to something else? I don't really see what it would be in relation to, but hey, who knows, right?

Anyway, as far as I am concerned I would love to see a good track editor in GT Sport

Could be a leftover from GT6, but with online support of that game removed, the servers and app for the course creator I assume are dormant .

I don't see any reason that the course creator cannot be included in GTSport from a technical point of view, although PD may be saving it for GT7.

Either way, it would be interesting if someone fluent in Japanese could report what the manual says in Polyphony's native language...
