Just a question: When you "Start a new Game", do you lose all your other saves.

No, you don't lose any of your other saves, but if you want to save your new game, you might have to save it over another game if all the avilable slots are full in your Vice City cube.

And for goodness sake, don't do what I do and save your game on top of another game with all your records. I've done this in both Vice City and GTA III.

Ok.
When I started my 2nd game, I didn't know if I was going to lose my first one, so I put the PS2 ON, without the Memory Card in socket 1, started a new game, put the Memory Card in the PS2 and saved. (I started a new game because I couldn't find the last 2 Packages. I think it's a glitch (My brother to is stuck a 98 Packages))

This was just discused in this post (and several after it) a couple of hours ago-- if you wanted to check it out....I don't know if it works or not but you can try it (rather then start a new game).

I didn't really understand where to put the FlatBed. Could you post a pic please?
Here's a pic that I posted earlier on here after I landed a lousy 2286 degree rotation using the Flatbed technique. . .

Along with a pic of a strange Flatbed. . .

There you go koak----Thanks Deli 👍

--- now just park it where he did and experiment with popping wheelies and turning just before you reach it-- this jump is actually pretty fun whether you get good spin or no as you get pretty good height and distance on it too--really just depends on how you hit it--- I had a pretty sweet long one where I did just 2 complete spins nice and slow and a perfect landing.

God that was priceless.

Also Spuds, with that Rotation jump, do you hit it on an angle, as in Deli's screenshot?

God that was priceless.

I've also formatted my HD when I upgraded to Windows XP and backed up all my data - apart from my save games. Deus Ex, Half-Life and most importantly of all, Morrowind. I had a save game which could have had twice as much gameplay racked up as my Vice City game had.

It's amazing I can function properly as a human being considering how brain dead I can be at times.

Heh. I didn't realise you used the PC version...if you do, then your Chopper Checkpoint times are even more astounding.

No, I don't. I've only got the PS2 version.

What I meant was that I'd lost save files from other games on my PC because I forgot to back them up when reformatting.

I'm just boasting about my own incredible levels of stupidity.

I don't recall-- you can check my vid though-- I think I turned a little to the right at the last second.

Nice Avatar there KM-- coincidentally that one was on last night, and I'd never seen the long version of that episode-- I did see a 2 minute cartman clip--parodying the "cops" stuff.

I still haven't got a good rotation using the Flatbed method. I watched your video and tried copying it but the best I've managed is 1498 degrees. I either get bugger all rotation or the bike goes flying off into the air and I fall off and come crashing to the ground beside the ramp. Sometimes the bike travels so far I have difficulty finding it.

Unfortunately it's not shown near enough on British TV (I don't think any of the 3 Irish TV stations have ever shown it). I rarely see it in the TV listings. I gotta get onto Amazon and get a few of the DVDs. I wonder if they've got season boxed sets.

I fell off ALOT too but did manage about 5 or 6 over 2000 degrees, 1 over 3000, and then the 4800 one-- I lost my bike several times too :dunce:

Way off topic, but---- I don't know about seasons boxed sets (I don't recall if I've heard ads for them) but I do know they have released individual episodes--
"The passion of the Jew" was releases the same day as "the Passion of the Christ"-- The comedy channel shows at least 4 or 5 differerent episodes each week (3 or 4 old ones and then the newer ones are on wednesday nights at 10 PM. So I have no desire to buy them. The new season (4 or 5 episodes) start next wednesday-- I gotta start watching it with my kid not around though-- he is starting to talk a lot (just turned 2)-- he likes the opening to southpark but isn't interested in the show just yet.

I tried doing that rotation deal with no luck. I did manage one over 1000 degrees though. I think I'm going to have another whack at it later on. And then I think I'll put Vice City away for a while. Just 37 hours and 8 minutes until San Andreas :dopey:

Actually, there are season box sets. I happen to own both season 3 and 6. You can probably find all of them on ebay.(where I got mine)

I'm tossing up whether to load up my PC Vice City, or leave it until another day. I told myself I wouldn't play any GTA game until after I've played San Andreas.

At the moment I seem to have given up all games but Counter-Strike. God, the tension is building!

3 days, 7 hours, 53 minutes, and 38 seconds left

I seem to still be going strong on Vice City. I can't post a pic yet, but here's a little preview of what I did this weekend: I beat three of KM's first place times! :D Are you sitting on the edge of your seats. . .

$5,702,190 for weapons budget, Spudz i poste this early put you must er missed it

Yeah, I tossing up between showing up Small_Fryz or that. But if I'm bored I'll do it.

Well I'm still wondering whether to have a go at 2 things (on PC of course): Manana Street Racing Challenge in the Vice City Community thread if it hasn't already been won, and the Superjump, this time on PC.

Less than 7 hours remaining!

About the Manana race, I was very close to win. (Finished 2nd on my 2nd try :)) I was on the SSA street when the 1st finished the race. (GRRR)
