DJR's livery for the upcoming Sydney test:

I believe that both cars are identical just swapped. I like it more than I don't but I'll have to see them infront of the triple 8 cars to really soak it in haha
AAAAAAND here comes the spanner, for the works... I'm a Holden fan hahaWhy do ford fans hate triple 8 so much I'm sure u loved them when they were in a falcon but because ford decided not to fund them all of a sudden they are the worst enemy
When they were winning in a falcon I just figured it was better them winning than FPR
If it wasn't that lowndes is in triple 8 and I really like lowndes I am supporting hrt (hoping they can be fast this year)
My point is when that u can love a team when they are in a falcon and them hate them because ford let them go

I think you better look up the history of the ford vs holden if you think is only friendly banter.'Hate' is a little OTT surely? OK I am just a pom but being a pom I like to think I can absorb myself in the Aussie feeling and surely it is not in the remit of Aussies to 'hate' something. I mean it is just motorsport. It ain't live and death. Friendly bantering has to be a better word to describe the Holden v Ford rivalry.
I think the reason why Ford fans dislike them so much is because they had always been a Ford team. When they first started competing, they were competing with Fords, and they continued with Fords until they crossed over to Holden. Why do ford fans hate triple 8 so much I'm sure u loved them when they were in a falcon but because ford decided not to fund them all of a sudden they are the worst enemy
Former Formula 1 driver Mika Salo is planning to make his debut in the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 this October with front-running outfit Ford Performance Racing.
The 46-year-old Finn has competed in the V8 Supercars Championships Armor All Gold Coast 600 in each of the three occasions it has run to its international co-driver format, taking out the Sunday race last year alongside FPR star Will Davison.
Salo is learning the Mount Panorama circuit this weekend in the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour, where he is racing a Maranello Motorsport Ferrari 458 alongside Allan Simonsen, John Bowe and Peter Edwards.
Salo is hopeful that his Formula 1 commitments, comprising of Finnish television duties and a guest steward role with the FIA, can be eased so that he is free to race on the October 10-13 weekend, which clashes with the Japanese Grand Prix.
Thats the plan, yes, it was the point for me to come here (this weekend), Salo told Speedcafe.com of racing with FPR in this years 1000.
I talked with FPR last year and we decided Id do Bathurst also, and the only way to learn the circuit for me was to come and do the 12 Hour race.
Id hope I could do all three races (Sandown, Bathurst and the Gold Coast) if I could under the rules, but there is some clashes with the Formula 1 and I have some commitments there. But I hope I can get around those.
Ugh. They need to get rid of the Gold Coast event as soon as possible. Or at least change it. This is how a race meeting should be structured:
- Each meeting has three races: two sprints of equal length, and one race that is as long as the two sprint races together (and thus requires a pit stop).
- There are two qualifying sessions, with the first session deciding the grid for the first race, and the second session deciding the grid for the second race. The grid for the third race is decided based on aggregate times from the two sessions.
- Drivers are free to use the sprint tyre in whichever qualifying session they like, but they can only use it in one qualifying session; they must use the control tyre in the other session.
- Teams must nominate in advance which tyres they are using in which session. Once submitted, they cannot change which tyres they are using, and they have no way of knowing which tyres the other teams are using until the session starts.
- All of the drivers use the control tyres for the sprint races and must make a pit stop at some point in the race.
- Drivers may start the third race on the sprint tyre. They must finish on the control tyre. The length of the third race is set so that using the sprint tyres is a risk: the control tyres may have used up all of their life by the end of the race (but doing the entire race on control tyres is safe).
- Return to the round winner format. "Event points" are awarded at the end of each race, which are added up and used to determine championship points. Additionally, a driver's worst sprint race result could be dropped, and only their best sprint finish plus their third-race finish used to award championship points.

What does that have to do with my not being a moderator on the forums? This is a reason why you are a moderator on GTPlanet and probably wont run a successful real life racing series,
No, it was actually a conscious design choice.I see a rear wing the same shape as the Ford (probably a spec part now knowing modern motorsport).
