New multi year Nissan deal for James Moffat.
James Moffat will continue with Nissan Motorsport next season after inking a new multi-year deal with the factory squad.
The son of four-time Australian Touring Car Champion, Allan Moffat, joined Nissan for its inaugural V8 Supercars campaign this year following two seasons at Dick Johnson Racing.
Despite the underpowered Altima package preventing any front-running results, Moffat has been one of the shining lights of the year to date.
He currently sits just two places shy of Nissan team leader Rick Kelly in the points standings after scoring seven top 10 finishes from the first 24 races.

Sme cars would need to remove the tape over the lights. Glowing numbers would be cool. And titanium skid plates under the cars( like BTCC did) for sparks would be awesome.

Just stop right there, I'm getting all giddy over it. Heck I like glowing lights!

Great pic, the Altima is such a good looking car.

Holden confirms it commitment to V8 Supercars.
Holden has confirmed its ongoing commitment to V8 Supercars racing despite the current question marks over its future as a manufacturer in Australia.

“Racing is a natural for us, we are absolutely committed to V8 Supercars,” Holden managing director Mike Devereux told v8supercars.com.au.

“I think we get good value from being involved in the sport and it is part of our DNA.

“The sport is looking fairly robust. There are couple of new teams in there that are showing up well, so I think the sport is pretty healthy.”

Devereux’s support for the category comes at the same time as traditional rival Ford debates whether it will renew its sponsorship deal with its factory team.

Ford has announced it will cease manufacturing in Australia no later than October 2016 and kill off the Falcon nameplate.

At a major new product launch at Sydney’s Fox Studios last Tuesday, Ford Australia president Bob Graziano indicated a decision on backing for Ford Performance Racing would be made within weeks.

...and over this passed weekend, I've just seen the ads for the New Malibu. The Malibu looks just like a Commodore but, with better taillights.

I just saw it 30 seconds ago. Look a lot like Camaro tailights.

Don't forget about the flames out of the exhausts and my personal favorite..... The glowing brake discs.... oooooh yeeeeeeeeah

I'm curious if anyone has any clue about diecast this year and one other?

I'm really after RedBull, Nissan, SVG, McLaughlin, Reynolds, HRT. They never made the Lowndes camo Vodefone in 1:64

Sorry ordered a few Lowndes and the 2011 HRT Bathurst winner.

R1600Turbo
I would like to know too.

The only RedBull I've seen is Casey Stoners which I will grab since I found good place to buy and great shipping.

Yeah, the NISSANs look real good. Erebus have a clay model E63 in their office. All silver. I want that one.

As for the teams that will be produced.

Apex are doing the DJR cars, Bottle O and Jeldwen cars.

Biante will be doing the Erebus, Tekno, Lucas Dumbrell, BJR and Supercheap cars.

Classics will most likely be doing Red Bull, HRT, and the Pepsi FPR cars.

Just now saw a Volvo S60 Polestar ad on tv and the narrator mentioned V8 Supercars. It shows the STCC race car in super slomo mm away from a barrier, bolts being tightened on an engine and overseas model S60 accelerating. Can't find it on YouTube.
