He's on form, too - second in first practice, and fastest in second practice. McLaughlin looks good, too, third-fastest in both sessions.
 
Erebus are in 13th & 25th (Holdsworth brushed a wall on his final lap) for race 1.

Oh, I hope the Grand Prix support becomes a championship round next year! It seems the usual mid-pack guys are catapulted to the front of the grid at this track and it's great to see. No doubt the RBRA guys are going to have their hands full, more than usual!

I wish I wasn't such a loyal employee, then I could call in sick tomorrow just to catch the V8 and F1 action...
 
11th for the Swede is not bad. See if he can hang on to it.
 
I will not be reading news feeds tomorrow. I'm recording the action to watch tomorrow night! :D
 
I'll be attempting that too, but I don't know how I'll keep myself occupied on my lunch break!
 
Keep watching this video until we get some video of today's practice and quali. It's a preview by Rick Kelly. I don't get tired of this place.

Is there a way to watch todays race 1? I can't find any streams.
 
Altima's up to pace this weekend, good to see. Let's hope their racing speed is just as good.
 
Hazaah! I just realised the broadcast starts in half an hour, so I should be able to catch race 1 live today! :D

No way for internationals to watch anyways. There is no superview and I can't find a stream anywhere. Sucks because it was looking like Volvo and Nissan were going to give the usual contenders a run for their money.
 
Just noticed that GRM now has Wilson Security on the bonnet of their Volvo's. How many cars do Wilson sponsor now? :crazy: Great to see though.
 
Jeez, things are getting a bit intense down the main straight there! But that Volvo has a lot of pace, hoping McLaughlin can leap Whincup soon and give Van Gisbergen a bit of a run for his money!

Impressive pace from Volvo once again. Pity that McLaughlin couldn't get past Whincup. Reckon he could have challenged SVG for the win.
 
I couldnt believe how the Volvo just pulled on Holdsworth at the start. I figured, okay, Lee should jump a couple of cars and get passed Dolph Lundgren. Nope!
 
Scott once again showing promising signs for Volvo. Cant wait to see them in the flesh tomorrow
