Tim Edwards was answering a parity question posed by Greg Rust. He mentioned how much smaller the S60 is than the Falcon. I figured that was the case. The S60 is so compact. Its probably as light as the Altima and just as nimble (as we have seen). it's going to be too cool tomorrow.

Did Whincup get away with that swerve block on Scotty?

It's been said before, but I'll say it again, that Volvo looks and sounds amazing 👍.

Davison got away with jumping the start in race 1 to maintain 12th and a move into top 10. Would be interesting to find out the wheelbase on each car. I wonder if Erebus used the C63, would its performance made a difference with the shorter length.

I thought that's what they were going to use, and should have used, in the first place.

True. The new C-class is coming but, I think Betty prefers a big Benz. Should be interesting in a couple years to see what Ford and Holden choose as shells.

We're all thinking it, but I'm going to say it: I wonder how Scott McLaughlin would go in a Formula 1 car.

That's interesting because lately I've been thinking the giz will go to NASCAR one day.

Oh, I doubt McLaughlin will ever race in Formula 1. But he is young and quick, and it would be interesting to see him have a go purely for curiosity's sake.

I do see him coming state side but I don't think Nascar fits his style. I seem him getting into GRC outside of his normally sports car racing.

I'm with you, I think he is a future V8 star but I think F1 isn't on his radar in terms of a future. Granted what do I know but he could easily become a factory sports car driver.

Race 3 underway and Mostert just got Tandered, and Wood was left with nowhere to go but straight into him.

Mostert and Wood won't be taking part in the final race tomorrow.

Awesome day today. Volvos look and sound great in the flesh. Got to meet Scott, a great bloke who was down for a chat. Was awesome to watch Ricciardo grab P2. Ill try upload some pics tomorrow of the V8's.

I didnt see or meet Scott but, saw Brad Jones, Campbell Little and Frosty, Dahlgren and Rogers, Cheeseburger, Lucas Dumbrell, Davison and Betty. I also got the nissan drivers to sign "Happy Birthday" on a poster for my wife. They looked at me funny. Maybe because I had my Erebus Motorsport Club lanyard around my neck :D

Haha, i was at the signing session before that. I went expecting to see some v8 drivers, turned out some random called Webber was there. I knew lowndes was going to be there but i only found out about Mark when i got there. Saw Ryan Walkinshaw walk past me, Roland and Simon Mcnamara talking to each other, Frosty and Fabian. I have to say that the accessibility to drivers at Sandown 🤬 all over tye F1

YEP! I saw the line was short at about 11 and didnt think much of who would be signing, so trialed the GTAcademy event. Next i hear craig Lowndes and they announce Webber. By the time i got halway through the line, Webber had to leave. Booooo!

Here's hoping next years V8 support races are longer with compulsory pit stops.

They may become a championship round next year when Ten get the rights to the series.

However, they are a support race and they are limited by time constraints. Bernie Ecclestone won't like it if the focus is on another series at the Grand Prix.

It is also worth noting that VESA usually likes circuits to be no more than 3.5km long, unless the circuit applies for an exemption. Albert Park is roughly 5.5km long, so even though the support races are only twelve laps long, the actual distance is close to 90km.

Epic racing so far - they have to make this a championship round in the future, the circuit is made for V8SC.

Will a Volvo win the weekend?!!!
