Crompo is getting emotional. He can't speak. Where's Skaifey?! What a scene though. The burnout in front of the crowd, the pit lane, everything is pretty special.

Lowndsey getting emotional as well, he's holding it together. Sweet little helmet James Warburton just gave Lowndsey, nice little gesture.

Stellar drive from Pye, especially that move on Courtney - there was no was he could get him at the end of the straight, so doing it through the final turn with van Gisbergen sniffing around was gutsy stuff.

*sigh*

Not much for me to be excited about in this one. Tomorrow is a new day though.

Great maturity by the crowd not booing the politicians handing the trophies out. It's a big moment, and we don't need something petty like that ruining it.

Holy 🤬, Roland Dane has... feelings...

Pye has been good since his LDM drive. I'm happy he's in the #17. :D The Altimas are fast. Good job by Slade to hang on. Bad luck for Heimgartner. Tander said keep the Soft tyre as the main tyre and offer a Super Soft option. Great race for passing, drama, speed. Awesome way to end a day of racing. Tomorrow is going to be better.

Lowndes is one of the greats. From Race 13 spinning on the grass reating Forrest fires, to claiming his 100th win by smoking the field. He "races" all the time. I was entertained today.

Today was probably one of the best day in terms of promoting V8SC. From the racing to Lowndsey's 100th win, I can't think of a better way to promote V8SC.

Some say Danes tears have enough evil in them to run the death star for a decade.

Big congrats to Lowndes on his 100th win. What an amazing achievement. 👍

Great run by Pye yesterday and Slade managing to hold onto 2nd.

Aww man, crash in the Pros and Street race. RX3, Celica, Mk 1 Escort and Commodore.

So sad. The escort is in real bad shape. I was looking forward to that race, haven't managed to catch the other races this weekend.

The penalties for Race 13 & 14.

---

The one Pros and Street race I miss...

Kinda glad since the sight of those cars damaged would be sad.

But, in better news, the Aussie Racing Cars are out!

Freedie Hunt DNF'd. Good race though. My wife wants the Aussie Racing Cars to be road legal.

Why did they penalise Whincup? He's Jamie Whincup! He doesn't get penalties. If anything, everyone else should get a penalty for not being Jamie Whincup because the sport is only successful when he wins everything.

Or did Jason Bargwanna finally recover the dirty pictures Roland Dane has been using to blackmail him with?

I would love a turn of an Aussie Racing car. They just look so fun and seem to be driven on the edge.

Ugggghhhhhh. On holidays at my girlfriends grandparents house in Melbourne and they have Foxtel so finally managed to sneak in some coverage, 10 minutes from qualifying he switches over to weird American news programs. Damn old people.

Speaking of the FOXTEL coverage, am I the only one who has noticed that sometimes the commentators build up as if they are about to go to an ad break and then realise that they don't have to?

Can't blame them. After all those years of going to an ad break every 5 minutes, it must take a while to realize that there are no ad breaks in racing on FOXTEL.

Yes! I almost got suckered by that yesterday.

McLaughlan gone off. Let's see if the Nissan can get up the front again.

Edit: Reynolds fastest. a 6.2

New record, 1.06.252 by David Reynolds on Hard tyres.

Good job by Andre to get P10.

Oh, boy. Turn 1 is going to be interesting with Dale Wood P5.

Nice to see both Wood and Percat qualify inside the top ten.

Hopefully they can all get through turn 1 without too much drama today.

I see I woke up too late today judging by the past four comments... :ouch:

For Reynolds to set that lap on the RH tyre, the RS tyre with low fuel might smash it even further.

Aaaaand he has fallen asleep just after quali finishes. Damnit.

That ENZED livery on Mustang Sally is way better than the Wisons Security Bowe runs on the Totana and when it was on the Mustang.

Bad start for Pye. Geez. Long way to go.

Well, that was an anticlimactic start.
