That is one very nice livery!

With these added manufacturers, does anyone think it would give us a better chance now to have a proper V8Supercars game? Even adding them to Gran Turismo!

I have a feeling that since Nissan is competing next year, and PD have scanned Bathurst recently, there's a good chance we'll see it in some form for GT6.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but V8 Supercars has put the 2010 and 2011 Bathurst 1000 full races on their YouTube channel. Might help get you in the mood for the next race on the schedule.

Yeah I think an HD video that is 5 1/2 hours long might have a giant file size.

A lot of teams are planning retro liveries for this year's race. DJR have confirmed that they will be doing one, and will unveil it on Tuesday. FPR, Triple 8 and HRT are all said to be considering it.

DJR have always had great graphics designers. Love what they did especially with the 'Honey' and 'Devils Cut' liveries. Wonder what FPR and HRT will do...

Just checked their site, live race is not happening this year. 👎

The tape delayed broadcast shows October 14th. And unless I can locate a computer by the 7th, I'll miss it. Watching the tape delay isn't quite as fun, plus you have to stay away from anything that might spoil the results for you.

Boo hiss.. Really enjoyed last years coverage. I guess there is a little to many right hand turns for the average Speed viewer so they got rid of it..

They have SPEED channel in Australia, and it'll be shown there. But we're not special enough I guess.

The lead designer for hrt sent me mock ups of the 78 and 84 liverys a couple of years ago. I'd rather see those.

I think it's alright... That said I would love to see the Malboro livery or perhaps Brock's blue and white Mobil VL Commodore. Maybe even from the 90's when Skaife/Morris won Bathurst.

^^ Those look pretty sweet! 👍 But realistically, I don't think they'll use the Marlboro livery, it bares to much resemblance to the Marlboro logo, which might cause issues with certain groups of people

There's nothing like arriving in the Adelaide CBD, walking to the Clipsal 500 track and listening to those cars get louder and louder as you pass each block!
