Will you be able to make it today polarbear?

Well, it's going to be close. We're at the races now. My get out early card is at a wedding now, so I'm stuck here until I don't know when... I don't think I will be at the race today. ;(

We racing today? Rain or shine I think I should be pretty decent here.

I'm looking at the car list. Is the Lancer Evo 7 fair game?

I rarely run 4wd's but if memory serves, the Lancers suffer from some understeer that'll have to be tuned out to even out the tire wear. The Subaru I tested for Suzuka also understeered quite a bit and needed a lot of tweaking, in the wet and the dry. But once tuned, it's pretty much unbeatable in the wet:scared: and exceptional in the dry as well.

The Lancer's a great car in the series. The Evo VII RS '02 is the one I drive in the VLN, which, temporarily, uses the same specs. I do, however, recommend that the suspension be stiffened much more than is stock.

Also, when I say "races" I meant "the longer races 1 & 2." The Sprint race will be about 4 laps, maybe 5. So, 5+1.

I got a practice room open, so please guys- join me. Lets see how fast everyone is and if we can get some practice runs in.

However long it is, just join so we can get some laps in.

MrMelancholy15
For 20 ish minutes, Seth. :)

I'm ready to go ... when is the room going to open?

I'll open my room at 10:30 your time. That's 20 minutes away. I'll join Seth's for like three or four laps first.

15 MINUTES! (Gah, I feel like I'm storming Juno...)

P.S. I've added everyone (I think) to my friend's list. Everyone online should join. Norm can't make it today. But, thanks for the message telling me! Much appreciated!

So, which of you guys bombed your way through a crowd at the first hairpin?
Also, I saw you either gain / keep a position from use of the run off area at the very least. I'll watch the replay for anything else, but you guys were warned about the driving and rain so all's fair

When did I use run off, and why would would you want to go off track where there is less grip!!

And is the corner a hairpin.....no! And I didn't bomb my way past!

I'm sorry but it's not my fault how early people want to break into a corner and I break later and therefore go past!

I just checked the rest of the car list, so I'm going to test the 22B & 190 Evo Benz for a possible late car change'

Joe, you may change cars. :)

JZR, both of you were on probation, yet somehow, K1M managed to get from last on grid (a result of not following the 'stay on track during qualifying' rule) to two rows ahead of me.

Also, I had about 4 drivers complain after all three rounds.

You grinded people into walls at Grand Valley East Reverse.
You swerved 4x on a single straightaway at Tsukuba.
You jumped the start, gained positions off-track, and made dirty passes at Suzuka. You're done here.

I told you K1M, that if you broke any rules at the next rounds, you were done. I put all of JZR on probation for Suzuka. I couldn't tell anyone, so that they wouldn't try to aggravate you, and make you angry enough to break rules. So, you came, with a clear mind (no one did anything bad to you,) and still broke many rules. So, I called Race 1 out early, kicked you guys out, and started races 2 and 3, which were marvelously fun.

:indiff: You get no apologies, and no consolations. Your time in this series (as with many of other series, I've checked your history here at GTPlanet,) is done. Most series don't want you to join their series. And, I gave you both a chance. Unfortunately, in hindsight, even giving you two a chance was a big mistake.

*i wasn't at tsubuka...
*Nobody hit the wall! can you not see in the replay!
*I went at the overhead banner at suzuka

+Freshseth get your head out your arse ;)

+what record, its the first championship ive done on gt planet

Zack was on probation from 0.3 @ Grand Valley.

You guys are done here.

or am i

*So if someone has a bad setup in qualifying they cannot change it to benefit them for the race! well that's a stupid rule!

Dude get it together. You crashed me in the 1 lap warm up at Suzuka. You dive-bombed me at GVE. You pushed me in the wall at GVE. You tapped me out at GVE. You jumped the start at Suzuka. You started last and you were 4th by turn 1. I watched the replays. This is just what you have done to me. Not to mention you driving me through turn one and crashing me into Storm at GVE. I gave you a clean slate after GVE because we didn't have a clear set of rules. I was going to overlook your probation. During the week you moved me off of my line in a practice test race on like Thursday. You obviously race like a 12 year old. It looks like I am not the only one who has that opinion.

P.S. I don't care if the rules are stupid. Every rule in this series serves a purpose. The qualifying rule is to try to speed the race process up. The no dive-bomb rule is to keep participation because no one wants to run a bumper car series. This isn't a demolition derby either. Race 2 and 3 ran very smooth and clean. No one was mad after races 2 and 3. Except for Seth after 3 because we didn't realize that he had baby duty. We apologize Seth that one was on us.

Basically you said the same incident at gve about 3 time just re worded it slightly different!

For the qualifying rule there was still qualifying left when I changed my set just not enough time to do a lap so thats my choice if I want to not bother with qualifying.

Ps: do I give a **** about your opinion...no!

Are you all seth's bitches or something, he never does wrong in any of your eyes!

You all get soooop sad with your settup, you've said that you practised race scenarios wtf! Just a little bit sad....

Well yes because you basically did the same thing to me 5 times just at a different part of the track and at a different track on a few occasions.

Well there was only 2 tracks I raced so a maximum of two

And who cares about a one lap warm up, does it count for anything no!

Nothing against your intelligence, but I am not following your logic. We race 3 times at each track. You directly impacted my race in a negative way 3 times at GVE. You also pushed me through turn one at GVE on lap 1 of race 3. I have the replay to prove all of it. The rest of the ToS have the replay as well. I saw you go from last to about 5th before the end of turn 1 in Suzuka race 1. That means unless no one else decided to hit the gas, you jumped the start. I let you by in the esses in race one at Suzuka because I didn't want to get run off. I knew you would try something beyond the limits of the car with the conditions so I backed off. I don't feel comfortable at all racing around you because of GVE. I was willing to forgive but not forget.

I have a tolerance for hard racing. Sometimes people make mistakes. When I see you commit tomfoolery time and time again, I run out of patience. I decided that if you did another GVE in the regular season I would tell MrM that either you needed to go or I would bow out of the series. This took care of that.

As for diddy. He made some really stupid moves at GVE as well. He did block like a goalkeeper at Tsukuba, but I had no serious problems with him. Someone else must have had issues with him.

I give Mel a lot of credit for allowing you a second chance after GVE, Midget. If I were the RD, you would have been shown the door after Grand Valley East, absolutely no question about it and that's exactly what I did suggest to him, 2 weeks ago. To Mel's credit he shot me down, and the fact that he gave you a second chance after that atrocious performance 2 weeks ago is proof enough to me that Mel is going out of his way to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. You've had your chances and it's time to move on.

You can move on with grace Midget, in which case it might make some of us think twice about Mel's decision. Or you can make a total 🤬 of yourself in which case I'd say most of us will be saying, "good riddance"..choice is yours.

I'm not cutting out anything, but I have some points you bring up that I believe need clarification.

Seth does PLENTY wrong, we don't like how he brings up the specs of cars and complains about those things.

And you should give a (bad word) about his opinion, he's a steward.

And we practice race scenarios, not because we're "sad", but because we don't want to win by shoving people around and wrecking them.

And c'mon, we're on gtplanet... A website dedicated to one game... We're all a little sad...

You don't feal comfortable? It's a game. I accelerated at the big banner thingy above the track! I drove awfull for 1 lap at GVE wow! Big whoop!
