Wangan midnight club, ***PLEASE read first post.***

This is more about street racing finely tuned machines then wangan if you want to go there. We have fun street racing more then wangan running. Its been said by a few people, that no one has had this much fun since NSFU2.

Just seeing videos and pictures of a mass of tuned cars rolling fast down the road is awesome to look at.
I won't care if i win or not, i just wanna take part.

NSFU2 was pretty damn fun, even if it lagged like hell the online races were good.

I'll say this again, What i have planned, Is something like how it goes in TXR. it will be alot of fun. and alot of people have been excited about it, I do not like how you come in here acting like you own this place articzap, i will not tolerate that, I'm fine with you organizing your own events and all but this is not your club. Like i said, The Wangan is not about street racing, And this club will not go that direction, If you want to create Street racing in "your" room, Feel free to do so, But, This club is solely about wangan battles period. I am not being harsh about this, I am being firm about this, I do not like street racing type organizing on the wangan. And alot of people agree that it kills the point of the wangan, Might as well call the Club street racing on the wangan in GT5.

And if you can not understand were i'm coming from, then you do not have respect for this club, Or respect for the wangan.

Also, i have read through this thread, and i do not like how you have been calling my rules(Silly) and Saying just because i don't have the game don't listen to me, Excuse me, Listen here, i am perfectly capable of controlling my club regardless of whether i have the game or not.

I do not appreciate that at all.

I have plainly said that you come in here acting like you own the place(And believe me i have noticed this), I do not care if i do not win any wangan races, because that's not my point, And believe me i know more about the wangan then based on your speculation, i can back it up due to the fact that i have actually driven on it, And study the culture and trends regarding the wangan. You obviously don't know what the wangan is if you cant play by any realistic rules, I'm not speaking behind a keyboard, I'm Speaking as the club leader, And i do appreciate the way you act and will not tolerate it.

Also, I said no harm, You obviously just blew it way out of proportion.

hmmm, I personally don't have much in that range.

Although the supra is only creating 520odd horsepower it really digs in from 100+ could be because of the aerodynamics. But unfortunately it tops out at around 210 mph.

How are you talking crap? You were the one to say,

That statement is enough evidence to support that you think you're faster then I am.

Because in real wangan its about being the fastest and achieving insane top speeds, although you already knew that right?



I came into this place. First night we went out and had fun. Second night people wanted rules. We vaguely discussed them. Then people wanted events. We gave them events. People wanted more rules. We came up with rules. I'm giving the people exactly what they're asking for.

Whether or not that's what wangan's about, people won't stop until they have the fastest car. No one likes getting beat. Do you honestly think wangan would have continued if it wasn't for people building and improving their cars until they were fastest or felt like they were the fastest? No real racer, even wangan racer, will go into a battle repeatedly knowing they would lose.

Were doing digs in from 50 mph at the start of the tunnel.

it's about high speed, yeah.

But it's all from rolling starts, wangan is a trafficated motorway, stopping in the middle of a public road, to have someone count down, would cause crashes.

don't have to be a Veyron, but it's supposed to be rolling starts, kinda lays in the name of the club, Wangan.
it IS street racing though, seeing it's racing on streets, public ones

so there's nothing for ya folks to argue about.

But, for the game, stopping and turning around to go back on the straight, or to pose for pictures, should be okay at least, that or waiting on the slower contestants.

Articzap, its not your group, so I don't know why you are arguing your point - Yes street racing is fun, but A) This isn't your group and B) It's wangan, clearly, not street racing.
I suggest people get back on topic before this gets deleted - which is unfair on Torque, considering he hasn't done anything wrong.

I was not trying to come off as a jerk, I just don't like people saying that behind my back. Especially when you send me a invite asking me "can i set up events" i was happy about that, But you are going about it the wrong way.

The reason I said that is because you don't realize the kind of fun we're having. If you'd actually see that, you'd realize you have to work with the people to grow to be big. It's sweet to stay true to the roots, but you'll lose people fast. People lose attention fast with things.

I'm giving the people what they are asking for and what I hear people talk about.

Hell you were the first to say sports soft only, then in your next rules post 3/4 over the classes have racing tires allowed. Since when does 300 whp cars need racing tires for traction? That would just slow them down........

Digs and rolls proves who can tune their car to do multiple tasks. Even low rolls. I guess this isn't about being best though.

Not really, because my z31 was tuned and i ended up beating Nsx's Evo's and everything else that was a fun competion we should do that again 👍

And there's three new cars never seen on SSR7 that want to run you.

We do meet up on our own time. We could clearly organize two groups out of one, which is what I'm trying let happen. This gives people multiple chances to do what they want. I'm not saying all events have to be from a dig, but why couldn't you race from a dig? Is there something physically stopping you?
