I'm simply saying that the way you are talking to Torque, as if you own the club, is rude.

Oh, and it is different in the fact that erm, we have been doing digs, and we don't have traffic. But other than that, its identical 👍

Rude, maybe. As I've told him before, and he even agreed, that he can't acuratally judge what's happening or how much fun we're having from his POV right now.

It does suck where he's at right now. :nervous: And I do feel sorry for him.

People are stepping up try and help him, and we get slapped in the face. I guess thats what I get for trying to help a community grow and prosper.

But artic you are missing my point the reason i was pissed off was because you told people not to listen to me, Or that my ideas were silly and unecassary, Do you think that's right arctic? Do you think i want to be sitting on the side line like this in my own club? No. what you did just pissed me off, And i just want you to see what you did wrong, its not about faster cars, its about what you said behind my back. when i was not active in this thread. and it was just from you.

I am fine with people doing what ever they want in the club, it is a mixed thing with only certain elements being left out.

But come on man, you can't go talking behind some body back like that, they have a right to be pissed.

Trying to pull the guilty card? It's truth. If that's how you want to take it then so be it. We're all working towards the same cause. He wants things his way only and I'm fighting for what people have asked for.

I don't know if a middle ground exists at this moment. I'll stick free runs and what we've been doing.

But by the rules on the forums anyone can see whats going on. And from the event i was in we were all doing digs. And no theres a difference in helping and taking over. First you came and hosted events. That was cool. Then you came and hijacked his group basicly. Now please lets go back to WANGAN before this gets locked!
 
artic, I gotta agree, this is Torque's club. we are members in it. no mutiny should be allowed. now, if another club were to be formed where we did from a dig, and such (which is a lot of fun), I'm sure Torque would have no problem with that. he just doesn't want drag racing being done in a Wangan club. also, Wangan isn't about who has the highest speed, or who can accelerate fastest like in straight line racing. Wangan is effectively being the best driver with the fastest car. real Wangan races involve corners and over 200mph on the highway. in other words, it's really about who can do a lap the quickest. it's not straight line racing, at all. sure it's involved, but it's a high speed road course, really. you have to be able to navigate the corners well, and have a high top speed. to say he doesn't know what "real wangan" is when you think it's straight line stuff is a bit hypocritical. not stabbing you in the back, or anything, just being honest, here. I know you're helping him organize things, but I think the fundamental idea of this club should be stuck to. that being said, I wouldn't mind another club continuing what we've been doing the past few nights. it's been really fun. this just isn't the place for it. kinda like trying to order a quesadilla in a hibachi resturant.

Everyone should come to a consensus on the rules. (And I mean everyone) And they should be in the first post. So we know Torque agrees with them.

Plus there's no reason to argue. We're all enjoying something together...so we should just all make up and get back to having fun. :lol:

Wrong, Do you know how many people signed up prior to me first creating this club? Keep in my it was a few weeks away from the release of GT5.

I'm happy to let him do events(He asked for that) and i let him because i needed help, But saying he is the only reason, you must have not been here long.

This is not a simple who has more authority, I just don't people telling people not listen to me in my own club. it's as simple as that, Regardless if i have the game playing or not. I wish people would realize this, I don't mind freeruns, like i said this is a mixed club,(as in unrealistic/realistic with set guide lines to keep it near realistic ie: no digs and under 1000 hp.

but you cant just tell people to not listen to some one, that is just wrong.

I have to step up and keep my club in check even though i'm forced to sit on the sidelines, please understand this.

I'm glad someone knows real wangan. :) He's been the one talking about point to point, so I ran with his idea. True wangan they did laps of the highway. I know there's some great OG videos from Japan when they ran Civic's.

I'm done helping. He wants to run this by himself, then so be it. I'll be waiting on the highway.

Obviously he was talking about laps, how else do you get traffic? How else do you "find races". I think you're just hearing what you want to hear sometimes.

So now racing tires are allowed? You need to sit down and organize something realistic, because your last set of rules were not.

Your first rules were realistic, production cars only, no Veyron and sports soft tires only. Those were OG rules that kicked ass. Until you have the game, everyone should just have fun with what they're doing now....

When you come in and have a day or two at it, then come up with some good ground rules.

His original posts, way back in the day, said he wanted to go to the start of the bridges to the end of the tunnel. That's not laps. :)

You are the event organizer, That is your job, And your doing a damn good job at it. But come on, You just cant say stuff like that behind peoples back, I can't stress that enough and i wish you realize that, it's like you keep ignoring every time i say this.

Fair enough. I agree with your post above - we need a final, definitive set of rules.

Either Torque chooses the rules and we all abide, or leave OR we have some kind of poll/voting topic and then finalise the rules after that.

You're the one who said it was cool for me to help out until you got your PS3. I even told you I'm trying to help you out.

I guess if you would have communicated with me in my first PM to you or even been more active we could have worked together better. This just was not the case.

( Option tune Z, Ken wood honda NSXR, PD S2S000 Spoon racing S2000, amuse cars, spoon cars, HKS cars, Any tuning company car is allowed. I made an acception for the Nissan skyline R34 falken race car, nissan skyline calosonic R32 race car and anything of that sort is allowed.

Basically, no J1GT cars, no nascars, no rally cars, no lmp cars, no DTM cars, no touring cars.

under 1000 horse power always.

Sports tires only.

No digs. period.

Everything else, is fine.

Personal stuff is why we have PM's. Can you guys please take it there. No reason to ruin a perfectly good thread with back and forth mouth fighting. It really don't help anyone.

On a side note, a few rules would be nice, but don't overdo it. We are around to have fun, and i'd much rather have it like it is at the moment, as it really does work. At least in the few events so far. It's all good fun, either in unlimited class or in a 200hp car.
 
Sounds like the real issue is the owner not having is PS3 and not getting a chance to see his own rules in action. I know that you can't help that it broke, it's a shame, I'd be very upset if it happened to me. It's just hard to gauge what we should and shouldn't be doing when you can't test these idea's out. They might look good on paper, but in-game.. it might not.

Anyway I'm new the forums, but not to the site so don't hate me xD

Look im just stating my opinion. Maybe a bit harsh but he did act like he owned the place, especially when the commitee (sp.?) stuff came into consideration. Ive been in more than one event and we had 11 people 1 time 6 the other. But it only makes me mad when he says only 3 people are active. Not everyone can be in every lobby.

Sorry got caught up at work, the committee thing was my idea. I knew this was going to happen sooner or later. But you both need to work this out because I know once Famine starts reading all the posts from the last few pages. Things won't look so well for our club, especially with all the posts that aren't against the AUP.

Please clean up your posts everyone, so our club actually looks respectable. 👍

I have a question for you since I saw you post. Last night you were experiencing some lag issues. Does this only happen while your in my lounge? Because I had people from Japan and Australia in my lounge and I didn't see any major signs of them lagging. Not like what happened last night during the cruise event where your car just magically jumped into the air inside the tunnel.:dopey:

I feel your pain. I had my PS3 stolen about a year ago. Long story short, I came home with a brand new just released Killzone 2 to find my apartment broken into and PS3 gone. I'm happy the didn't do anything to the 42" LED, but it still sucked :yuck:
