All great choices, Definitely agree with GT1, 3 and 4.
For 2 I would say my favourite game, 5 is 5oul on display and 6 is We Are One IMO.

For me, any of the PAL GT2 Race songs. All six of them are burned into my memory. Unfortunately for what I know only three of them have been officially released (Big Dog, Blame (Grooverider Mix) & the remix of ****ing In Heaven), the Instrumental's aren't on the Band's soundtracks. Lucky NTSC owners and their official soundtrack . I haven't found exactly what version of My Favourite Game the PAL Intro one is, either.

To me, PAL GT1 is miles above the rest in this department. Every one of them adds up, from the licensed ones to the menu/dealer ones, to a musical masterpiece.

IMO GT3 has the best overall soundtrack, GT4 has the best menu music and GT6 has the best race music. But every GT has great music overall.

Greatest tracks IMO:
1: Garbage - As Heaven Is Wide (I had never heard of Garbage until I re-played this game late in the 2000s on a relative's PS1 - this and 2 are the games that got me introduced to them and I started buying their albums around 2011)
2 (tie): Garbage - I Think I'm Paranoid & Soul Coughing - Super Bon Bon (whenever I played, these were the two music tracks that always seemed to play at random.
3 (tie): Papa Roach - Never Enough (I always tended to march to the front of the field whenever this song played, and never looked back) & 8stops7 - Satisfied
4 (tie): Daiki Kasho - What to Believe & Papa Roach - Getting Away With... (Gran Turismo 4 Vrenna/Walsh Remix) - these songs stayed in my head for days, until I won the Gran Turismo World Championship after 4 years of trying to play through the game.
5 (tie again): Chemical Brothers - Escape Velocity (The girl's vocals at the beginning stayed in my head for days in 2010) & Hot Hot Heat - Implosionatic
6: What to Believe - Daiki Kasho. (Nice to see this song come back)
