Here’s an interview with George Clooney about recording “Man of Constant Sorrow.” For those who don’t get the reference when he says “Because my last name is Clooney, they thought I could sing”, his aunt is Rosemary Clooney, a great pop and jazz singer popular in the 1950s and ‘60s.

First heard this song on BBC Radio 1 Friday Rock Show with Tommy Vance; it totally blew me away and I had to get hold of a copy asap. Spent many happy times jumping around my bedroom to this in the late 80s. Id've been around 14-15.

The whole album is pretty good too.

Currently got this on. 3 LP. While clearly a digital transfer to wax it does sound better and more smooth compared to the actual Digital Files and much better than the Streams for the internet.

Deep rich bottom end, so thick a fat with a clear spacious mid and fine top end (can get a little over baring in the mix sometimes)

Pulled the MoFi pressing box. Using their Gain 2 Analogue process and straight from Tapes to DSD to Wax. They did a separate master for Digital keeping the Analogue as much as possible in the chain, however it was done to DSD64 then to lathe.

Compared to the Mono RSD pressing I own, I think I actually prefer that. I’d love to own an Original Pressing but those pressings are about the same cost as my TT, so it’s not on the cards.

Their album was great all the way through and so were the two follow-up singles but I wish they'd release more than eight songs as they sound very accessible to me.
