The first release from an obscure, distinctly 1980s New Wave/Merseybeat-revival act, tracks like "Necessary Spinning," "When I Am With You," "Nothing Is Saving Me," "Everywhere" and the obligatory "Everywhere That I'm Not" (not to be confused with the song mentioned immediately before it) bring back a good number of memories for me.

I've been looking through what the GTS soundtrack has in store, and as usual, PD knows what kind of beautiful music to put in their games. This is one of them:

Great, now that's stuck in my head...

Someone posted a song ("Door Into Summer," if I recall correctly) by these guys either here or in another GTP Music thread, and it resonated with me. Finally got my hands on some (The Dancers at the Edge of Time on CD and Cityscapes / Landscapes on CD and vinyl).

Now that the song is now in Rocksmith as DLC, I was re-introduced to this terrible song. I'm addicted.

Speaking of this song, yesterday was the ten-year anniversary of Guitar Hero III, as blasphemous as that name is today now that the crowd has moved on from fake instruments.

Safe bet that the only CD of mine that got more use in 1990 than Fatima Mansion's Viva Dead Ponies is Toy Matinee's Toy Matinee.

Okay, perhaps David Baerwald's Bedtime Stories.

I've been listening to Lightnin Hopkins for the past few days. So good.

Great song; it's been covered more than a few times, too.

I'd list these in order of personal preference like I did in my last post like this, but that would be entirely too difficult. So alphabetical it is...
