Dredg is old news. I've known about them for at least 6 months.

You're an elitist and it's annoying. I think I'm like that too, but I try not to be.
I've know about them for awhile now too, just never bothered checking them out.

How do you get that I'm an elitist from that?

Dredg - Symbol Song

Edit: Deftones - My Own Summer (Shove It)

Symphony X - Rediscovery (Part II)
12 minutes of pure
Set this song to high volume and wheeeeeee :p

Yazoo is - I believe - the same band that was sold in America as just plain "Yaz". That was indeed made up of Depeche Mode alumnus Vince Clark (responsible for all the "Speak And Spell" type electronica on their early work). In fact it was pretty much just Vince and a woman named Alison Moyet, who he hired off a personal ad in a London music paper; she advertised herself as a blues singer looking for a band. Their main work is Upstairs At Eric's, a true period piece of the early '80s and a great album in its own right.

tabs - that might indeed be the song. I listen to a college station and most of the DJs forget to write down what they play and don't back announce very well.

If I hear "Situation" again, I might be forced to kill. An old roomie listed that as one of her favorite songs. So when she burned me a disk of MP3s, it had about 30 remixes of "Situation" on it. Yeah, I got tired of that quick.

Oh, since this is the "What are you listending to?" thread, I should add that if I were not on a conference call right now, I would be listing to Wolfshiem - Youth and Greed.

Heh, I could see that growing thin.

Coldplay - Amsterdam

Van Halen - The Dream is Over

Michael Jackson - Beat It
A friend told me to listen to the guitarwork in this song b/c he says it's Van Halen...it sure as hell sounds like it.

It's actually pretty good.

I like the System Of A Down version. :p

The Distillers - Hall Of Mirrors.

It's nice to see a rock band with a female lead.

I mean there's No Doubt 👍 and there's another crappy band (Don't slate me!) called Evanesence. ;)

Tool - Ticks & Leeches.

My playlist is on its way to greatness thanks to GTP. 👍

Thanks to Shananananananon mainly. :p

To think, couple of months ago, I hadn't heard of Tool or A Perfect Circle. :O

Yeah, that's Eddie.

Buddy Rich vs. Ed Shaunessy - Tonight Show drum battle. Absolutely amazing stuff flying back and forth between two small trap sets.
