I personaly was very impressed with how Gordon did, JPM just had fun and I thing he had an easier time with the stock car.

Did anyone see it??

didnt see it but heard about
good to see 2 guys from different classes having a go in the others cars, even more impressive was Gordons times, about a second slower than JPM

Publicity stunt. Gordon was about two seconds off the pace, from what I'd heard. A lot of work in those two seconds. I didn't hear any commentary on Montoya's thoughts on the Nascar.

I think he was bored with the nascar.
Gordon was 2 seconds off the last place time of a year ago, not montoya. Gordon looked good in the f1 though with a little work he could run in the to 15 or so people dont give him enough credit I mean I think he out of all nascar drivers has the best chance of making it in f1.

2 seconds off the pace? How much seat time did Gordon have? Where did they let him drive?

in a williams car I could have set a time 2 seconds off of yoongs pace last year. I am not trash talking yoong, just his car (or whoever had the worst time recorded for last years USGP).

Anyway, my point is that isnt very impressive to me. The williams car is so much better than the slowest car in the pack, gordon was probably 5 seconds off of montoyas pace.

I wouldnt mind getting the opportunity myself............

Im not a cocky person, i am just very confident with my race driving skills.

What kind of race cars have you driven?

I watched it. It was pretty neat. I enjoyed watching Gordon drive the F1 car, as I am a NASCAR fan, but not a Jeff Gordon fan. For some reason they didn't focus on Montoya, it was just Gordon they were showing. I wanted to hear what Montoya thought of the stock car. They should've paid more attention to him.

e30 m3, karts, formula dodges, R/T 2000 dodges, simulations. I think gp4 is very accurate.

I know i have the skill. I would just need to adapt to such a potent machine. From what Ive heard, the downforce and braking mainly.

I hope to get my chance one day.

At what level have you raced? How did you compete against the rest?

I hope to find out how competetvie i am next month. I have not raced others yet in the open wheelers. Just the skip schools and some lapping.

I think it will be an experience. Doing a quick lap and racing are different. It will take experience to get comfortable around other cars.

So how did it go?

Sadly, this is the only picture I could find of the car-swap...
