What did you use your car restoration ticket for?

Five restoration tickets were a gift in 2.02 upgrade only if you had previously purchased any of the October DLC packs. The tickets would be in your items list near the bottom. You would also receive the Racing Kart 125 SPL as a gift.

Have not used mine yet, but i got 4 cars i use a lot that could need an rebuild

But i dont think i will ever use the "Wash Car" tickets !

There is no point in saving any of the tickets especially the car wash and oil change tickets. The only tickets that should be used wisely is the '0 mile' tickets.

The funny thing is, i dont have car restore coupons. I have never used them, and truthfully never heard of them 'till tonight. Any suggestions?

I know that this an old thread and no one will probably read this but...

I think these restoration tickets are a joke.

It says it will restore the car to its original condition, remove paint, parts, etc...

I've used them several times and they have never removed any paint or parts, just reset the odometer. They also do not remove any of the permanent engine or weight improvements.

I know what the word 'permanent' means so maybe I shouldn't be surprised, but they obviously don't know what the words 'original condition' mean. If it won't remove permanent changes then it can't "return the car to it's original condition".

So they lie. And it's a much more obvious lie about the paint and parts. They should call it "The Odometer Reset" ticket. That would be more honest...

Sorry, shouldn't complain, I just hate it when stuff doesn't work as advertized.

I used on on my X2011, one on a drift car I bought and didn't realize til an oil change later that it had nearly 300k miles I bought it with ~290k miles lol

I've used one on the x2010. I didn't realize how much I had worn the thing out until it was pretty far gone. Tried the engine rebuild but it didn't restore all of the original HP's (most, but not all), so I used the restoration ticket.

I will admit that it worked wonders in that case. I just wish it could completely return a car to an untouched state.

I also wish they were more easily obtained, I have only ever used that one on the x2010 (the failed attempts I got back by restoring my save file). I'm afraid to run out!

Are these dupe-able?

Use one, send the car, then back up your save, send the car back?

Or is the ticket taken from your account permanently?

Yes they are, in a sense. I have one on my dupe account (from a Seasonal), & have used it like this; send a car from my main account, restore it, send it back to my main account, & then copy the save file back onto my dupe account with the ticket intact. However, you can't dupe the ticket itself, as it cannot be sent to another account.

However it takes one car trading day when I send it.

I've tried sending them on 2 of my accounts, & it won't let me. Maybe you've got some kind of glitched ticket.
