So 2 player memory card battle was excluded when online was taken out? possible, but very smart, its too fundamental to leave out. its been in GT1-GT3, theres no excuse.

No. I'm saying features like that, multiplayer battles in 2p mode, LAN or internet were probably all within what we refer to as "online mode" which was probably more of a "multiplayer" mode. Thus when it was dropped late in the game all the multiplayer features were lost.

That's not true. Not until you have actual game in YOUR hands (or rather in your PS2) can you make such a strong judgement.

...or any useful judgement at all. I agree, and that's the most annoying thing about the recent complaint threads to me - too many people criticizing the game who haven't played it yet. It's one thing to voice your opinions, but if you're just regurgitating what someone told you online are you really offering anything helpful? Some backlash or letdown after the hype is inevitable, but it shouldn't start before you've got the game.

I don't think screenshots and words are enough to base an overall judgement of the game, they never are. It's the 'feel' of the GT series that I love, and as long as that's still there I'll be happy. And I'll reserve any judgement until I've played it myself.

But hey, if you're scared away by all the panty-knotting and hand wringing around here you're completely free to NOT buy GT4 - nobody's forcing you. 💡

They add little subliminal messages to the US release that flash during loading screens, saying "BUY A DFP...IF YOU HAVE ONE, BUY ANOTHER...AND OH YEAH, LENNY KRAVITZ IS COOL, I GUESS."

The E3 demo was in english........surely if they could do it then.....they why didnt they change the language along the way???
