I'm a rum guy, and I'm moving away from beer quickly. Mojitos, Rum & Coke, and something I call a "Tropic Squall" (Poweraide + Coconut Rum) are my favorites.

I'm not really a drinker, as I hate the way the room spins. Many a time I have been found clinging to the floor for dear life. Occasionally though, once or twice a month, I will have a can of chilled Magners Irish Cider sans ice.

My favorite is Guinness but most of the time I just end up with Miller Light or Bud Light Lime. I just had Guinness with prime rib last friday for mine and Heathers 6th anniversary. She had ribeye.

Yes, we serve that at the bar I work at. I must admit, it is a very tasty one; and that's a nice glass. We have a different one for it.

I prefer Chardonnay. It's a bit stronger and sort of a party drink.

Merlot is the less quality wine you could say, thus it ends up being the cheapest.

I lived in Argentina for a while and yes, the wine if rich there, but just like in any other wine maker country, there's good quality wine and bad quality as well.

I haven't heard of KISS Vodka either. Vanilla Vodka would work, I'd imagine. I mixed that, Cream soda, and some Root Beer Schnapps just a bit ago.

My friend suggested mixing KISS Vodka w/ Coke, implying that it gave it a Vanilla Coke-like taste. First off, I've never heard of a KISS vodka, but anyone ever try this?

Vodka is a neutral liquor, hence its popularity. Its versatility allows bartenders to mix it with a lot of other liquors to create new drinks.
Nowadays most brands are adding many trendy flavors to some recognized vodkas (Absolute, Stoli, Grey Goose, etc.). But the difference between non-flavored vodkas is pretty much the smoothness and organic ingredients of which they are made from. Gin is basically Vodka, but in the evaporation process, the alcohol goes through Juniper berries, and that's how they acquire the aroma.

With this being said, any Vodka mixed with a flavored drink i.e Coke, will taste more like Coke; unless like I said, you have a flavored type of vodka.
I would read on the bottle of KISS if it mentions any added flavor.

By the way, if you're trying to get that vanilla-ish flavor out of your vodka & coke, I would get Vanilla Coke (if it's available) better. Reason being is the flavor of any vodka will not stand out that much because the coke's flavor will overtake it.

Vanilla Stolichnaya tastes real good with chocolate liquor.

I enjoy a beer. To be more specific, lager. Not keen on bitter, ale or stout. Myparticular taste is for the European brands like Stella, Grolsch, Becks, Nastro Azzuro, Kronenbourg and the like - most other lagers taste foul and watery after the stronger, completely natural (by law) European brands. The best lager I've ever had was a "Hell" lager (a pale German one that I can't remember the name of) in a pub in the North West.

I don't like many spirits (bad experiences with most...) but I do like Rum and Vodka (though not together, I hasten to add). Jager is absolutely foul and my tastebuds disagree with whisky.

I do like the odd liqueur such as Amaretto, Benedictine, Baileys etc.

Disappointed to see no wine or Champagne on the list either. And by Champagne I mean the actual French stuff produced around Epernay and not cheap, crap fizzy wine from anywhere else in the world. As for wine, Italian reds are my favourite.

Re: cool names for Beers, the UK is full of amusing ones, but I did like the "Route (66) beer" erm... root beer that my mate bought when we went to the States. Pic of the sort of stuff I'm talking about, too large for the forum

Champagne is only called Champagne if it comes from the Champagne region of France. Everything else is called sparkling wine.
