I am fine with it. I prefer driving more of the everyday cars to be honest. But I wouldn't mind a Countach.

I can take it as a positive, I would have liked Porsche more but I am still expecting them to be in GT5. Greater choice of supercars can only be a good thing IMO, variety is part of what makes GT a great series.

I am sure I will enjoy racing in this prestigious marque so I guess you chalk me up as excited.

I'm def. happy about it, this news actually is the reason I will buy a PS3 and GT5 as opposed to Forza 3 and 360.

I like Lamboorghini's, they have some really nice cars! But it will not make or break the game, because there in it!!

About time, I've been craving Lamborghini's and Ferrari's since GT2, and half my wish was granted with GT5P, now i have the full deck when GT5 is eventually released ( hurry up already )

This news made the decision on whether it's FM3 or GT5 a LOT easier. It's about time. If neither Ferrari nor Lamborghini were to be in GT5, I'd seriously be leaning towards FM3 instead.

Exotic cars don't really make me favor a game over another, but having them included puts extra flavoring on a cake.

Wow... Jordan is stoked! But I think this really needs to be put in perspective.

Supercars are really the most noticeable icing on any racing game, but you have to realize that there are so many other factors which make a racing game what it is. I know people can't get enough of comparisons with the Forzas eries, but bear with me. It did bring a ton of things to the table in console racing.
  • Extensive body modification and livery painting, allowing you to create endless race cars - until your garage filled anyhow.
  • Many details, such as skid marks and working reverse lights.
  • Damage, even though it was very limited.
  • In FM1, a programmable Drivatar which was a blast to play with.
  • A wealth of online playability once reserved for PCs, including the saving of online replays and private lobbies. Of course you had to keep paying for it...
  • In FM2, an Auction House and many ways to sell, trade or gift cars, as well as DLC.
  • A wide variety of supercars and race cars.
Of course, keep in mind that the game this is/was being compared to was really GT4 on the antiquated PS2, so any superiority is to be expected. But we want all these things and more in GT5, and I think gamers in general, even the supercar fanatics, will appreciate all the fine details in GT5, as well as the grand inclusions. I don't think you can consider the inclusion of any supercar make to be more important than what I expect will be in GT5:

  • A wealth of used cars, with realistic variations in performance based on age.
  • More cars than you could reasonably expect in a racing game, and the ability to collect them endlessly.
  • Very well thought out racing challenges, and a path of progression that doesn't stop rewarding you until the very end.
  • The inclusion of more racing types and leagues, such as NASCAR and WRC.
  • DLC which keeps adding to the sheer wealth of content.
  • A wealth of environmental details, which I hope includes real race data on raceway scoreboards, time of day changes and weather.
  • More to do with and to your car as far as modifications and painting than any game in history.
  • The joy of being able to be a part of the largest online community in race game history, including the creation of entire racing leagues.
  • Things we don't even know of yet.
Are car lines like Lamborghinis important? Yes, but it's the whole of what the developer loads into the game which gives it the total value which keeps you playing, and makes you love it. I think if you consider it, no one thing is less or more important than any other.

Oh, if random weather and day/night changes are in the game, I am going to be beyond excited about Gran Turismo 5!

Some other things I hope are included:

  • Customizable Driver - Being able to change the appearance of our driver, with actual brand name suits, gloves, boots and helmets. Maybe even following along the lines of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, they could include an avatar editor, allowing us to create photo-realistic likenesses of ourselves.
  • Customizable License Plates
  • Tons of Real-Life Tracks
  • Functioning Headlights - Not just the ability to turn them on and off, but to see real-time lighting effects with them.
  • Functioning Windshield Wipers - For rainy races. The ability to turn them on and off with variable speeds would be a nice touch. ;)
  • The Acquisition of the Porsche License - This would really make GT5 complete.

Agreed. That is what has always made GT for me, but seeing as Lamborghini is my favorite supercar manufacture I don't mind one bit.

Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche would really make me proud to be a Gran Turismo fan.

I'm very happy actually. Can't wait to drive Gallardo, maybe even LP-560. Oh, I would be thrilled driving GT-R, LP-560 and Porsche GT2 on Motegi circuit. Can't wait!!!

Murcialagio LP670-4 SV. Yes sir, that will be a heavily driven car.

Neutral, because I've honestly never had an interest in Lambos.

That would make for a nice grid! But Spa would be the better track.

"It's not THAT important to the series. I'm not excited."

I dont care about Lamborghini, nor am I interested in driving any tractors.

For me, it IS epic indeed. Loved there cars always. My first "model-toy-car" was a Diablo from 1990, till today my favorite car EVER (the version with the spoiler-RWD). If that car is included, I seriously do not give a **** about all the other supercars. :p

Ferrari was "epic" news for me but having Lambos here had me pretty damn happy too. :)

I think this guy is very happy that GT5 will have LAMBO

Yea, I am very excited, aren't you?! For me, it's about the maturation of the series, it's about a long wait coming to an end, and it's about racing in a starting grid with an amazing manufacturer of cars. I've always wondered what it would be like to be surrounded by a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, etc, in a GT game. It is almost all true.

No, it's just 1 brand. Lamborghinis aren't that important, I can do without them. I don't mind them in the series though, in fact, it's good news. I have mixed thoughts, I won't vote. Lamborghinis are boring now, they have had the same designs for years now. None of the 2 cars on the market have had any visual upgrades in their lifetimes.

I think that any confirmation of cars in GT5 is good news, I'd love to see Koeniggsegg but its probably extremely unlikely

I think it's great news, the more the merrier.

ecstatic!!
All it needs is porsche and that would be it

Reventon and Miura.

That's all I'm saying.

That driveway/garage is sick!!! Lambos or not.

But yeah, I'm pretty happy Lambo & Ferrari are in. The Italians are finally properly represented in GT.
