It was actually quite close to the condom tree.. I also found a half eaten mouse yesterday.. Discovering is awesome.

To you, perhaps Mr.Vandenal. Getting up at 6:30 is such a non-event and I find having only 2 channels to be quite a trivial matter, personally. My telly here in Germany is rubbish and I never watch it. Hehe.

Discovering used condoms, mutilated rodents, dog s**t and the inability to move about in an urban environment without harming oneself doesn't sound that awesome.

Perhaps you could start a meme site called 'Jai looks at things'. ;)
 
This thread grinds my gears so hard that I feel like I'm going to spontaneously let off a string of explicitives at any moment.

I was reminded of something that "Grinds my gears" today.

Getting petrol, the court was quite busy so people had to cue up behind each other. In this particular garage there are 4 pumps in each line. So there I am, waiting for the person in front to get back to her car, she gets in and decides her hand bag needs rearranging right there and then... :mad:

MazdaPrice: Alright then. Instant pot snack sound good?
Body: Yeah, sounds fine
MazdaPrice: Okay, I'll just go and boil the kettle.

(MazdaPrice goes off and boils the kettle. In the mean time, the smooth tones of Joe Satriani can be heard in the background; 'Driving At Night', from the album Not Of This Earth)

Body: Come on, sunshine! Kettle's gone, get a move on!
MazdaPrice: Alright, alright...

(MazdaPrice peels back the foil on the tomato spaghetti pot snack, adds the water, stirs, folds the foil over and leaves the sauce to thicken for 2 minutes)

MazdaPrice: Here you are, should be ready by now.
Body: Oh forget it, I'm not hungry anymore. You're boring me. What else do you have on your iTunes?
MazdaPrice: ....

Everytime.
 
I don't know why I'm getting so upset over that girl. I hardly know her! I feel like I should just go for it but I know that every time I would be "ready" to ask her I would just 🤬 out and won't... I dunno what I should do. I don't wanna go on and later in life regret not doing anything.

Then you can do nothing but be patient. Not that anticipating that she'll break up with him is right, but there's nothing you're 'allowed' to do without coming across as a Kn-head, unfortunately.

If she has a boyfriend then don't. However don't get too friendly, otherwise you'll be a victim of friend zoning...
 
God, I hate the idiots on radio phone-in competitions. It's a simple question, and if you've got the luck of being chosen, then at least give it a guess. Otherwise I spend the whole time shouting at the radio. :rolleyes:

This reminds me of something that really, really grinds my gears. A friend of mine has been talking to this girl for a few months, and they both like each other. She's kissed him goodbye already, and they both play in bands, usually at the same show, with similar tastes in music. So they know they both love each other, but this girl has a boyfriend. The reason she ended up liking my friend is this reason: When this girl and her boyfriend get into fights, he gets physical. He threw her down head-first onto the sidewalk the other day, and that's why she's afraid to break up. She gets hit any time they start arguing, and my friend, being the really nice kid he is, always talked to her and helped her out. It just annoys me that she won't break up with him. My friend normally hates girls, but he really likes this one, and she has been relying on him for some time now. Physical abuse isn't funny either, she has bruises from time to time, and she calls my friend crying. Something is just wrong.

My buddy apparently told her parents, but I'm not sure what's being done. He said if they do nothing, which he's 90% sure they will, he's going to hang out with her next time he comes over, and if anything happens my friend is much stronger and bigger, so she could tell him they're over without being worried. And this isn't in school, teachers would do nothing.

On the radio a while back a kid got suspended for selling chocolates at school. He was making £200 a day and doing none of the work. The school sent him a written notice requesting him to stop selling the chocolates. He didn't and got suspended for not following the rules, and everyone was banging on about how the school should be 'encouraging his entrepreneurial spirit'.

Of course I'm not gonna ask her if she has a boyfriend but I'm just considering whether I should when they break up. I don't think I'd ever have the courage to ask though. I hardly have the courage to even talk to her.

He's just there to make sure she won't get the crap beat out of her. Although if I were my friend, with my short temper, I would beat the crap out of the kid for doing that.
