It's like the difference between well cooked Chicken and Jai cooked Chicken, well cooked Chicken is succulent and oh so tasty, looks amazing and just is amazing whilst Jai cooked Chicken is charcoal

Do you know what grinds my gears? Lindsey Lohan!

I'm watching that Family Guy episode as I type this, oh the irony.

Nope, I don't like eggs, I'm afraid. There are nicer sausages in the UK (I think you'd get better hotdogs in the US than we get), Cumberland sausages are gorgeous.

I am just saying.. Sometimes my breakfast would be fried hot dogs, rice, and fried chicken. I hardly touch pancakes

No room I presume. ;)

I didn't mean that to rhyme.

Do you know what Grinds my Gears? When there is a fly in the house and when you swat at it, it flies away just before it hits and then the little buzzing bastard won't stop flying around so you can take another shot at it.

Also, when you want to go to sleep, but you can't because your brain won't shut off. I JUST WANT TO SLEEP DAMMIT!!

Fly in my soda can.

Little :censored:er flew right the hell into it.

:grumpy:

Apple.

I paid over the odds for an iMac with basic spec a few years back and now the CD drive refuses to burn discs in iTunes, the DVD reader makes the disc vibrate stupidly loud when using it, my Magic Mouse has broken twice (and been replaced), my keyboard Space key is very unresponsive, my system wakes itself up for no reason, and the wireless disconnects at random.

I'm going back to Windows with my next system, I've had it with this OS. It used to be good but these days it's all about the trendy kids. Not a good move, Apple.

The trick is to aim just the other side of the fly from you, so that when the little sod flies away you, he goes straight into the swatter.

About the brainless sleeping thing, I can only ever get to sleep by thinking about something, or having the TV on.

Same with me. But sometimes I go to sleep w/o thinking at all

My one week old MBP disconnects from the internet randomly too :grumpy: very frustrating although I do love the laptop it was just too expensive really thinking about it.

Today though my gear grinder is when the school give us rubbish busses on the way there or back and drivers that only understand brakes as either on or off, no gentle stops just sudden fall off your seat emergency style stops. Very annoying and painful when I hit my head on the chair in front when talking to my friends grrr

This is a common problem... On the way home one day the bus driver ploughed into the back of a parked car, swore for a bit, told us all to get off the bus, wrote a note to leave on the car window and then drove off leaving us all to walk... And people wondered why I used to cycle to school. 💡

When the GO train is late and thus makes me late for class...

... and when I finally DO get there, having to contend with people who seem to think that stopping to chat in the very middle of a crowded walkway is the appropriate thing to do...

My iphones did the exact same thing.

I sometimes suffer with insomnia, normally when something is bothering me (work, money etc.). I did a bit of research on t'internet and discovered that meditation is the way forward.

Now, when I say that, people roll their eyes and expect me to get all spiritual and start talking about incence and stuff, but I'm talking about the original sense of the word: to think about something.

What you need to do is to distract your mind from whatever is stressing it out and let it shutdown enough for you to get some sleep. I've found doing really awkward times-tables (13, 17, 19 etc) works best... though I sometimes design simple computer games or plot out Scalectrix tracks. Just anything to shut off what's stopping me sleeping.

On the subject of frustrating Apple products, after locking my iPod while its connected the internet, it will say it Is still connected to WiFi, but I must turn WiFi setting off then back on for it to work.

Facebook!

I don't need to know when some in my list reacts to someone else picture.
I'm close to shutting my page down.

Know exactly how you feel. I use it less and less each month. :indiff:

Just needs a lot of clicking I think. Otherwise I'm gonna stalk Mark Z? untill I'm done.

Indeed, me too, I don't give a crap about someone telling Facebook that he or she is eating Pasta, or taking a shower.

I didn't do that when we only had a cellphone with textmessaging, so why would you do it on Facebook??

Stupid people.

For one time only, I will support Anonymous on the 5th of november.

People who moan about work on Facebook, at work annoy me. They say things like: 'Grrr, got loads of stuff to do today.' Maybe they wouldn't have so much to do, if they didn't spend all their time on Facebook.
