I am against Hip-Hop, but only because it's not my style. Whenever it comes on anywhere -- which is imminent where I am, I lose nearly all my happiness and get a bit of distaste. I'm not implying that it's really easy to rap or form a rap, my style just doesn't allow it. I follow the Rock, jazz, and classical genres, and a bit of Techno.

What's grinding my gears right now is my right leg is hurting, mostly at the ankle. Doesn't hurt to walk but it hurts when I'm doing anything :grumpy:

When you are watching a film or program on the television and someone in your family or someone who is your friend starts talking about nothing that related to what's going on.
Once someone started trying out ring-tones for his phone. Gets me so mad.

Do you know what Grinds my Gears?

Yesterday, I was watching Pawn Stars with my brother and out of nowhere he says "What would be worth more? A WWII uniform that has never been worn, or one that has?" Then I answer "what do you think?" Then he has the nerve to say "THATS WHY I ASKED THE QUESTION!!!"

Just do what I do, and have no friends.

You have friends, you just haven't met them yet. You know what, I'll be back in London next Jan. You anywhere close to London Jai? If you are, you're coming for a beer with me. I don't care if you're 13, I started well before that, and if you don't want to drink, you can come and listen to me rant in person. I'll be your friend mate.

Don't get a girlfriend in highschool, do what my brother did. Wait till after highschool, find a good-looking girlfriend and marry her. Success. I envy him.

My first fiancé I met at 17 when at college. We were both so irresponsible and young and foolish.

Love of my life for 4 years, some of the best years of my life.

I'm now married and love my wife more than anything in the world. But it takes a few attempts before you find what you looking for. Trust me, I know.

Quote me in 10 years time I might say something different, but I've been there, and done that enough times to know that when you hit the mark, it stays that way and there is no better.

When you score a strike, you can't hope for more. It's just not possible. ;)

I think he lives in Manchester. 👍

Anyway, my gear grinder for the day. I tried out FM4 at my friends house, and the car selection huge. Why can't GT5 have those cars. And the fact that my mum's not feeling that well, which always puts me in a bad mood. And it's the worst possible time as she's having chemotherapy :(

I don't think it'd be as much about video games as it would be about cars. I'm a freshman in high school and I'd say probably 60% maybe more of the kids have a PS3 or Xbox. It's rather annoying that there isn't much passion for cars anymore.
90% of the people in a high school aren't worth talking about cars with anyways. They're too biased & generally, complete idiots on the subject.

@Shem: Strike? Bowling reference? England eh? That'd be a nice place to visit in 2 years when I'm done schooling.

 Thanks, but I live 8 hours away from London.

I can travel!

To be fair, you'd probably grind my gears. I'm not really 'people person' and am very selective about my company (eccentric English man) but would be willing to give you the key to life success / professional drunkenness.

Easy listening and hiphop? Make soul music.

Sounds like of you and I ever met for a night out carnage would ensue....

I also like a good drink, combine that with being a magnet for fights (no idea why) and you got yourself a situation!

London would burn once again

Yea, it seems I have way different tastes than most people in my grade. I'm listening to the Rolling Stones and music from Vietnam era while everyone else is listening to that crap hip hop =/

^ Hip Hop often takes a lot more skill than people give it credit for....

He's probably referring to the really crap pop music which is being branded as hip-hop, e.g. Usher, Taio Cruz etc.

Sadly, that's what a lot of people I know do too. They wouldn't know real hip hop if it slapped them in the face!

When the train that takes you home in the evenings gets delayed by 30 minutes. And it's raining out. At this point my choices are to be miserable, free and alone, in the rain (too hard and windy for my umbrella to be useful), or to be miserable in the shelter because it's WAY overpopulated with damp, funny-smelling people.

At least I was dry.

Yea you have a point. Everyones just into Lamborghinis and Ferraris and all that jazz but nobody give a damn about some 60's car that's actually really interesting, way more interesting than an ugly Gallardo. Can't stand that car.

Yea let's say about 50% probably more I just cannot stand maybe 75%. I don't mind some of it but mostly I'll just use my iPod in the car, on the bus, etc.

Even so, they don't know what a real ferrari or lamborghini is. My friend who actually likes cars sent a picture to my girlfriend of a ferrari dino, and she asked me what it was because she didnt beleive him. Only enzos, F50's (which I like), and 458 italia's are ferraris to most. All with some kind of exotic engine. Most think the GT-R was illegal in the us because it's too fast, when really it's emissions and safety. They think the supra is some exotic car with 700 hp stock, sad really. Ignorance is bliss to them I guess.

The R32-R34 are considered as contraband but they did crash test the R33.

Never heard that GT-R being too fast thing before. I also want to add peoples attitude towards manual cars. My one friend was telling me how she wanted a G37. I replied me too with a manual. She then said that people get manuals just to race. Another person describes it as too much work. Another said it's stupid.

The Wellington City Council.

We finally won the RWC, in NZ, and they decide to have parades around Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland.

Christchurch and Auckland had their parades after school (around 3:30pm). Guess which time they picked for Wellington?

12:15pm. ON A SCHOOL DAY. :grumpy: So I had to go to school instead.

:(

It annoys me how disgustingly, catastrophically inconsiderate some people are. In Alaska, it's pretty much a done deal that there will be wind storms every fall. People go to the supermarkets during these storms, perhaps to stock up for the possible power outages. Despite the fact that they well know the wind is blowing with near-hurricane force, they don't bother to put their cart back in the cart return. They just push it aside as they normally do, leaving it to blow freely around the lot and run into anything that happens to be there. If the store employees aren't already on it I usually end up cleaning up after these people so their neglegence doesn't completely ruin someone's paint. I know being out in high wind sucks, but seriously... how selfish and inconsiderate is it possible to be?

Yea, I would say majority of people could probably name an Enzo and a 458 Italia and a Lamborghini Gallardo and Murcielago. Kinda sucks that people only like the cars because their expensive and have 500-600 HP. About the GTR I have actually seen an R32 and I live in PA, though it could be one of those Skylines with a tweaked exhaust or something I've seen at car shows before. I honestly don't know if that's what they do but I'm guessing it is along with making it safer as they look a bit different.

You didn't skip school for a rare event? Why not?

Come on friend. You should've asked to use the washroom and then just leave to see the parade.

So, was just heading to ForzaPlanet. And the school blocked it again. 🤬 little :censored:s!!! We're high school students, were old enough to know the results of our actions, if we don't want to work and just want to browse ForzaPlanet, then let us!!! Another reason for why I can't wait to leave this stupid school next year.

Lambton Kent District School Board: Airheads with the ridiculous belief that blocking every damn site possible will make us safer. While really it just pisses every student, and teacher off hardcore. Discretion should lie with the computer user, if we want to waste time, than let it happen as long as it doesn't distract others.

Now i heard it was the R32 they crash tested and not even the Gtr

My Tutor had a R32 (NOT A GT-R) for around 8 years IIRC, I washed the car too. (Before she sold it for $8000 Canadian) Navy blue in color. It was her daily driver and she never got in a single accident.

If the School just listened to this:
A True Statement That Should Get Some Serious Attention

When people seemingly don't understand this concept, it grinds my gears.
