I had no idea they were so strict. Basically, I went down this massive snowy hill on the lid of one of these.

A bin lid, I borrowed it - used it - got thrown out.

However, if by borrowed you mean stole, then it's a different matter.

So basically you was having fun not hurting anyone.
 
At the end of the day, I probably would've crashed into someone at the bottom of the hill. A lot of people were sledging on the hill, but this lid went really fast! It kept going beyond the boundaries and onto the path, often throwing me off. Fun days, really cold though.

Our school is composed of several buildings and a big outdoor area between them, but yet, somehow, during every passing period, I always seem to get stuck behind a big sideways line of cocky seventh grade girls who think they're the stuff. Then, in the parts of the outdoor area that are more narrow, especially by the gym, I'm always faced with a big crowd of kids walking in the opposite direction, all of them refusing to move, and since I have no room to move, I end up bumping shoulders with plenty of people I don't know. So annoying. :scared:

In my school, that would be a fight. People would be like, bi*** get the f-word out of my way. And if they still refuse, fists will get thrown. It sucks.
 
Every other driver turning into a moron as soon as an inch or two of snow settles. 7 tonne tractors don't stop so well in the snow, especially when going downhill, so give way or die!

If I can drive a huge tractor in the snow, it should be easy for everyone else to drive little cars in the snow. ARGGGGGHHHHHH!!!

It's is the single most pathetic thing a person can do on a message board. This isn't proper writing. This isn't class. This is people chatting via posts. If you can grasp the point of a post then leave it be.


Honestly only people that did that growing up was the over achieving girls from class. You know the ugly ones that tried to compensate and showed their anger via correcting you. Cause lord knows they wasn't getting noticed any other way.

I'll take the bait. ;)

I've talked about correcting spelling, punctuation and grammar in this thread before. People don't take kindly to it but I can't help but want to improve my own SPG because I study foreign languages. It really helps if I understand my own language grammatically, because I can build internal frameworks and transfer knowledge.

Reading. I'm used to reading articles that take maybe 5min to finish and I already know exactly what their talking about in it. Now I got to read a whole chapter of a book which I know nothing about. Sitting there and just reading until 100% completion of the chapter is impossible for me. I will be reading and half way through a sentence realize I am just moving my eyes and not actually paying attention to what is being said. Took me a day and half to read the chapter last week. Now I got to read it faster this week and write a bunch of stuff about it.
 
Microwaving food, I wanna heat up a chicken parmesan I didn't finish but of course microwaves ate stupid and can't just re heat food perfectly.
 
Microwave food is stupid. Tells me how long I need to microwave on 750W and 850W, but mine is a 1000W..

The fact that is seems all of England is getting snow, and it hasn't reached me yet. :(
 
A certain character in a certain anime died on the person's birthday, and the protagonists knew she would die because of her illness since birth. The person turned 16, and passed away just 20 minutes after midnight in the hospital. With a farewell note outside :( That conclusion is really grinding my gears...
 
What Grinds my Gears? No Snow!!!!

Bought new larger tires for the Jeep and had one decent outing. Lift be in this week. Here is hoping mother nature is holding off for me to get it installed. Then maybe she'll release a furious snow storm upon us. I'll take 12"+ for 200 Alex.

This day is grinding my gears. For one, it's sunny. I hate the sun. There's no snow on the ground but it's January.

This kid is asking me to hang out, but I don't want to. It's odd because the one kid who does want to hang out with me is the one I don't want to hang out with. Plus, I haven't seen my good friends outside of school in a while, of which I only have 3. Do you know that saying betters can't be choosers? That's me. I need more friends but look at me passing up an opportunity to have a friend!

I also have homework and I also realized the next two weekends will be no fun at all.

And my ear is plugged in because my Eustachian tubes are obstructed by something so fluids (ew) can't drain.

Oh man I just love the day.
 
The fact that I have to buy a return ticket to Japan grinds the hell out of my gears. The reason? As some may know, I'm going to Japan to get married. My Fiancee is a Japanese citizen. Due to the UK border agencies ridiculous policy, she can't get a visa for the UK.

I can get a visa for Japan. So I'm going to live with her there. Anyway. When I arrive in Japan, I'll enter on a visitor visa. As my Fiancee is Japanese, has her own home and a job, the visa is pretty much guaranteed. While there, I'll switch to a spousal visa after we are married. So why do I need a return flight? To satisfy the idiot behind the desk at Glasgow airport. 🤬

They may not let me fly on a one way ticket, so my only guaranteed way of even getting on the plane is to buy a return, regardless of the situation. 🤬

The same thing happened when I went to Canada. I had an email from CIC which I handed to the immigration official in Canada. He then proceeded to stamp my passport and staple my work permit to it.

But the idiot behind the desk at glasgow airport, didn't think my email was enough to fly on a one way ticket, so it took a 20 minute arguement and calling for her supervisor to get me on the plane. So in short, Air travel sucks.

At least I've found an airline that will let me take my guitar on board though. :D
 
^That sucks! Air travel can be really stupid sometimes. Nice that you can take your guitar though. :)
