What is your best thread about GT6? (That you created.)

Over the past 3 years since this forum for GT6 was opened its has great threads that rose and fell. Inspired by the nostalgia created by Midfield's release and @Terronium-12 best threads section of his awesome review articles.

Here's a thread to review and discuss the best threads and favorite threads that we created on this GT6 forum. I will post an example of my favorite to start us off.


I think the best thread that I created for GT6 was a thread that came with the announcement of the Laser propelled Chaparral VGT. We discussed how it can work and what it was. I haven't driven the VGT, but I watched a video on Youtube when it was released. We were so good at our discussion that we predicted the sound of the VGT perfectly! :D It was only 4 pages long, but it was my most successful. The link to it below if you want to see it.

My Best GT6 Thread? okay....
Thought some of them isn't really the best but i'll include it anyway as it brings memory's to me.

I remember on the 28th of Nov 2013, a week before GT6 release, after i finished my GT5 online playing, i went to the GT5 career mode and heard a menu song i loved as a goodbye to GT5. So then i turned off my PS3 and went to GTPlanet only to hear that a guy got GT6 early (the game was leaked over their) and right after i saw it, i was like so HYPED that i went to check if the game is leaked over here and i saw the game on sell so i bought it immediately.

Then i started my Longest running thread ever, the GT6 meme thread (you could see the link on my signature). The thread was going to die couple times but i'm amazed that it still running. It's also the place were i got the most likes on the whole GTPlanet. Their were much more members active on this thread in the beginning and started to go less and less by the time they leaved GT6.

I saw a lot of People who hates Top Gear Test Track because of invisible Wall's, Glitchy for being 8 figures track that cross each other road and (this is weird and odd but) because most People who play on the TGTT are Arab people who drift and drag racing on that track. :odd: Are they racist? who knows but anyway i made a thread about it.

Lately i made a thread comparing the Visual damage of GT5 to GT6 and which one is better. I spend good time typing these stuff.

The thread is closed right now.

Extremely well organized, all changes thoroughly vetted, and the threads kept as tightly on topic as I possibly could without mod powers. All in all a very valuable community resource that I've seen referenced on other sites as well.

Meme thread is my favorite thread on the forum. Lol.
 
I've haven't started many. One of the things I feel is most important for GT is proper leaderboards but the threads I have started on the topic never seemed to gain much traction. I can only guess that most GT players don't know what it is a like to have a proper leaderboard and thus do not know what they are missing. The game would be so much better if it had this feature. Much more important that most things people ask for around here.

The leaderboards added plenty of replayability to GT5 Prologue. Unfortunate that we haven't seen them in a similar shape since then.
 
Jeez, I guess I've only ever started four threads. It seems like I've started more than that but I guess not.

My favorite is one where I figured out the setting of Apricot Hill, and an earlier one where I figured out the setting of Cape Ring.

I was apparently the first one on the board to discover a strange glitch involving the Chapparall 2X (which, come to think of it, I haven't checked if it got fixed in the latest update).

Where is your latest one? I'm big on leaderboards myself, just discovering first hand how much it adds to the whole hotlapping/tuning process.
