Did someone just mention Senna? Because if you like that and want more of the same, check out Top Gear Season 15 Episode 5, 2nd half, goddamn tear jerking rememberance of what would've been his 50th birthday...

Watched Killer Elite yesterday. Jason Statham not straying very far from the kind of role he always plays! Based on a Ranulph Fiennes book which was apparently based on real-life events. Well-paced and entertaining. Recommended.

I watched warrior yesterday and it Is amazing and even if you are not into fighting movies it is still worth a watch, it is the best fighting movie since rocky and I'm glad I saw it.

Alright so you may have read my snatch review before and I was told to watch lock, stock and two smoking barrels because it's just as good. So I did lol. It literally is the exact same thing with a lot of the same cast, but totally different all the same. I enjoyed the movie even tho the version I watched wasn't super good quality, but it didn't matter as there were lots of jokes and action sequences to keep you entertained. It's the same as snatch as there as lots of stories that all connect and than really connect all at the end. I don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't seen it so I will just say the ending is one of those I wonder what happened moments. Interesting story, lots of jokes, I recommend it.

Glad to hear :) Technically Snatch is a ripoff of Lockstock since it came afterward...but most of Guy Ritchie's films are like that. If you want more, you can now check out RocknRolla. Not quite as good as the other two, but similar pacing and plot entanglements.

Ok got another movie review. Im knocking them out this week lol. I watched horrible bosses. It has tons of big named actors and they all do a good job at pulling this movie together. It's about 3 friends from high school who work at different jobs, but all have horrible bosses in different ways. One boss is a coke head, the other just a mean dude, and finally Jennifer Aniston playing a extremely slutty dentist (so hot lol). Certain funny scenarios happen and they plan on killing their bosses for being so horrible, but the plans get changed threw out causing even more mishaps to happen. It's probably one of the more funnier movies to be made recently with lots of funny scenes and literally 100% entertainment threw out the film. I recommend it especially if you hate your boss lol.

Rewatched What Women Want, and also watched A Clockwork Orange for the first time.

Fun stuff. :D

And another review lol. This time for Blitz. I never heard of this before, but said screw it seems good I'll watch it. It's about a cop who's not bad but not perfect either played by Jason Statham. Their is a serial killer murdering only police officers and obviously needs to be stopped right away. I liked the movie it's entertaining while also having some interesting plot twist. Only thing is I feel it could of been a tiny bit better if it went for a more dramatic plot rather than a fun one. Character building could of been more in depth as well. Theirs a black girl in the movie and is relatively a big part, but not really sure why she seemed just like a normal person to me. She also has a friend who again you have no idea what he's about and is a part of the story that was just thrown in and not explained much. Overall it was good tho and the ending is cool just have fun with it and try not to analyze it too much.

Yes, watched it on youtube. I've never seen Jeremy Clarkson as serious as when he describes Ayrton Senna.

One more thing about the film, I couldn't hold back the tears at the end. The amazing soundtrack helps making the whole documentary as good as it is.

I watched killer elite another Jason statham movie. It's pretty recent of his movies and he plays a contract killer hired by the Arabs to kill 3 retired British soldiers that killed this guys sons in some war. It's basses on a true story which seems pretty crazy after you watch the movie. Their is some cool plans and lots of spy than kill stuff although entertaining yet mediocre movie. Just a bit too much going on with not enough detail into why. Probably because of the true story aspect it all had to be there but normal movies don't have enough time to explain in detail about all of it. He has a partner who is none other than Robert Dinero who gets captured and that's why Jason has to do this mission to save him. Robert is in about half the movie as he is the second lead role so doesn't get to show his serious acting skills that much. Its a little more in depth than a shoot em up movie but not as detailed as the Bourne movies. Decent movie overall.

The Great Escape (John Sturges, 1963) -- The amazing true story of a group of allied escape artists prisoners of war who are all put in one 'escape proof' camp. Their leader not only will try to escape, but will also go for having all prisoners leave at once. The first part of the movie acts as a very light comedy with the prisoners outwitting the guards as they dig their tunnel, while the second half is intense adventure as they use all means necessary to get out of occupied Europe.

Despite its date and runtime (172 mins), it remains one of the greatest escape movie as well as one of the best movies in history (Top 250 #109). One of those movies that I always catch a glimpse off here and there and will always keep on watching when I catch it on TV. 10/10

Classic Movie. I LMAO when i watched the claymation movie "Chicken Run" which pulls shots directly from the Great Escape....except instead of Steve McQueen you have Ginger, a chicken trying to get all the chickens out of Mr Tweedy's chicken farm. Its a family movie but still great for a laugh.

Would this count? It's kinda like a documentary.

Back From Hell:A Tribute To Sam Kinison.

The younger generation won't know who this is,but for those of you who can remember his stand up acts, this is a must see.Best comic of all time.

Alright four movies to review:

Transformers: Dark of the Moon: Let's get this load of crap out of the way first. I swear this movie commits almost every flaw in the book: useless characters, visible mechanics, new characters without explanation as to why they were there, bad acting...I mean, you name it, it's probably in this movie somewhere. Seriously, though, what was with the Secretary of Defense lady? And why didn't anyone stand up to her stupid ass? All those big men looked like wussies whenever she was around because she had more balls than they did, and she really didn't have a point.

The Ferrari was there simply to have it there, because I have no idea where he came from. And did anyone else think the moon story felt kinda tact on?

Anyway...a 2 out of 5

Cars 2: Well...it wasn't as boring as Toy Story 3. But...it did send mixed messages about green technology. And in the end, it seemed to condemn green technology and encourage people to drive gas guzzling, air polluting lemons. Captain Planet would condemn this movie, I think. And while the message of friendship was alright, the "Green technology is evil" message wasn't so cool. A 3 out of 5.

Captain America: The best movie I watched this weekend and it has effectively washed the bad taste of First Class out of my mouth. Oh, and Hugo Weaving as the Red Skull is brilliant! A 5 out of 5.

The Warrior's Way: A ninja western. Lot's of blood shed and decent enough acting. (Geoffrey Rush stars in it, so it's not that bad.) It doesn't seem to take itself seriously, which is nice. A 4 out of 5.

Going to watch the mechanic soon. I planned on watching it last few days and was pumped to see an HD stream but it just kept loading and loading. Hopefully later it will start to actually play and I can watch and do a review on it lol.

Well just the other day i watched Hereafter.Very good movie.

Before the movie started though, there were quite a few previews including the new Harry Potter Movie.I thought it looked pretty good.

Since i have never seen a single Harry Potter movie before,i decided to put every single one of them on my Netflix que in order.I'm glad i did.I thoroughly enjoyed Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone today.I'm actually kinda pumped to see the next one after this one.I'll get it in about 2 days 👍

Just watched I'm A Cyborg, But It's OK It's from the same director as Oldboy. The film is definately Chan-wook Park style with interesting cinematography mixed with themes of vengence. The movie has some funny moments but the characters are so insane that you never really connect with the story. This movie is a Korean version of Drop Dead Fred and before you see I'm A Cyborg you should watch; Oldboy, Sympathy for Lady Vengence, Sympathy for Mr Vengence and Thirst.

6/10

Cool! I gave it a 5.5

Cool! I thought the story was disconnected too but I just kept thinking this is an artsy film so I forgave the stuttering narrative. It wasn't worth the effort in the end. Interesting that we gave the film similar scores I really wanted to give it a 5 but I thought that was too harsh.

Same here. I'd think a 5 is just a bad movie, and if anything, it was entertaining and something very different, even for Park.

True Grit - (6.5/10)
Going into the movie it felt good. Good atmosphere, good story, good motives for the main character. I was ready for a 7.5. Then we meet Matt Damon's character, a Texas Ranger. Now, there is no issue with how Damon played the role as a whole but this scene annoyed me. It was as if the director told him to act proud of being a Texas Ranger and he took it to cocky ass levels, even tilting his head back and giving an indignant sniff as he said it. Half point off for a bad scene that pushed the boundaries of over-acting. Then later the girl, the main character, fords a river so deep that her horse had to swim while she hung on to his reins, so at least 8 feet deep, with her head occasionally going under water. Then she walks out and starts talking to Jeff Bridges, completely dry from head to toe. It was as if we skipped four hours of time as she walked 20 feet. Another half point off. The only movie-long annoyance was how Josh Brolin played his character, the man they were chasing. There was talk of how wiley and clever he was, changing his name, always being able to hide, and then Josh Brolin played him as a drunken idiot who couldn't do anything without a gang leader telling him. It was as if Brolin didn't read any of the script outside of his lines. The lines could have been delivered as if there was a power struggle between the gang leader and the Brolin's character, but it was acted as if Brolin was a whiney idiot. That kept this from being a great movie for me.

So, good story, good writing, marred by a major continuity error and a few poorly acted parts. If you don't notice that someone is completely under water then dry the next second you probably won't care.

Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog - (7/10)

I love this the same way I love Bill & Ted and Beerfest. There is every sign in the world that you are meant to not expect anything serious. The title should give it away.

Doogie Howser Neil Patrick Harris is a mad scientist trying to join an evil league and get the attention of the girl at the laundromat, and he keeps a video blog of his evil exploits. Nathan Fillion plays Captain Hammer, a superhero who always ruins everything for Dr. Horrible. The comedy goes so far as to pointing out the ridiculousness of blogging your evil plans as Dr. Horrible discovers that the police and Captain Hammer watch his blog when they are waiting for him at one point. And its a musical. There's action, music, romance, comedy, tragedy, something for everyone.

Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, brought to you by the same man who gave us the cult favorites Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly/Serenity.

Cheaply made exclusively for internet distribution, you might not expect much, but you'd be wrong. Not really a movie but a three part mini-series, but add it up and it's about the same thing. Definitely silly but absolutely brilliant. I personally would give it a 9/10.

In defense of True Grit, the acting style was done in the manner of the time period. The proper English, including inflection (ie deadpan), sounds quirky to us just as our language might sound quirky to them. The overacting was just proper gesturing for the era. It is also typical of the Coen Brothers to use this style. Compare it to "O Brother", "Barton Fink", "Miller's Crossing" and to some extent "No Country for Old Men".

...but with that said, I thought the movie was overhyped. The pacing was slow even for a Coen Brothers film and the story just fizzled out. They lost me about 2/3rds through the film...and it's a shame because the first 1/3 was great story telling.

Heist (2001)

After a robbery goes wrong Joe Moore(Gene Hackman) decides it's time to retire, however he gets sucked into doing one last job. Yes, it's as unoriginal as it sounds. Granted the acting was solid(as you'd expect with the lineup), it can't make up for the insanely bland and predictable storyline. It didn't help that the movie ended about 5 times before it actually ended, I kept expecting the credits to start only to see the start of another scene(I know how it ends, end it already!!!). It's watchable if you like heist movies, but don't expect greatness. -6/10

Conan O'Brien Can't Stop (2011)

This is simply a documentary that follows Conan during his "Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour" in 2010. It shows carious stages from planning the tour to the end of it including clips from the shows including cameos from Eddie Vedder and Jack White on stage. I felt it did a good job showing various sides of Conan and the effects a hectic tour had on him. Humor wise it was mostly the same stuff you see on his show, only uncensored. I would recommend it to a Conan fan, but don't think anyone else would really enjoy it. - 5.5/10

Yeah...I'd give this one a 2 out of 5. It just seemed to wander around a bit, there was never really any part that had a single bit of suspense. It felt a lot like No Country for Old Men: a waste of time. Only...True Grit felt worse. It kinda seemed made up as it went along....there was no real point in having the group of criminals a part of the story, since it was just supposed to be about finding one guy.

I don't know...I don't think I'm going to see anymore Coen Brothers movies, though.

I watched two movies. First up is jackass 2.5. I seen all them and watches 3D and 3.5 months ago, but than just saw there was a 2.5 that went along with the second one and had to watch it. Same as all them they do dumb things funny if you like it. This was a bit more documentary than just dumb stuff where it showed there thoughts on why they choose to do certain things. It also shows pretty much all extra stunts they did that didn't make it in the movie. There still funny stuff. Like I said if you like the stuff than you'll like this.

Second movie is 30 minutes or less. I didn't understand the title until this very moment as I am typing this and it's because the main guy is a pizza delivery boy. Makes sense now lol. It was pretty funny and had an actual story. My friend told me to check it but their opinion is hit or miss so I didn't know if it would be good or not. Luckily it was. A pizza boy gets a bomb strapped to him and only way to get it off is if he brings a ton of money to the people who put it on. All sorts of crazy things happen and it's funny all the way threw. If you want to have fun and kick back this movie is a good choice.

I don't know...I don't think I'm going to see anymore Coen Brothers movies, though.

If you're going to base your taste for the movie on such trivial matters as the amout of suspense and explosions, I think that's good then.
