Went to Amoeba Music in Berkeley the other day, and picked up the 4 CDs from British Sea Power (some new, some used) for $29 total. Bargain.
Was put onto this band by a friend in England when I was back there in March / April. He transferred the files for about 20 new (to me) albums from his laptop to mine, but I'm not a big fan of purely digital music from the iPod, and I still love CDs, so I've been going through them gradually, burning a CD to listen to in the car, deciding if I like it, dumping / deleting it if I don't (30 Seconds To Mars & Calvin Harris have gone that way) and seeking out & buying legitimate copies of the music I like. Some of it is hard to get here though (Delphic & The Courteeners) so I'm having my folks buy it in England for my birthday & send it over.
Going to stock up on The Editors, Arcade Fire, Interpol & Paulo Nutini too when I get chance, 'cos I don't like piracy, and I love original CD artwork & boxes, although with almost 800 CDs & counting space is becoming an issue.
