I've been in mood for the 80's.....

Music For Films by Brian Eno. I'm listening to it right now. It would be excellent driving music imo.

Ignore the R8 and see the Foo Fighter albums.

The left one is One By One and the right hand side one is The Colour and The Shape both awesome.

Speedster, I have both too, they are great albums.

Just got

MGMT - Oracular Spectacular
The Orb - The Dream

Muse – Absolution
My Chemical Romance – The Black Parade
Panic! At The Disco – Pretty. Odd.

Just finished listening to Absolution. Do like.

Air - Moon Safari 10th Anniversary Edition
Ninja Tunes - You Don't Know
John Digweed - Transitions Vol. 4
Sasha - The Emfire Collection

Just purchased 4 albums from 2 of my fave bands:

Hot Fuss and Sams Town by The Killers
Absolution and Blackholes and Revlations by Muse

All awesome, next purchase has to be H.A.A.R.P.

What’s Sam’s Town like? I loved Hot Fuss but I never heard anything special about Sam’s Town…

I think it is excellent, not quite on the same excellence level as Hot Fuss, but it is damn good, well worth a listen.

In the last week or two, I bought the following:

  • Dizzee Rascal - Showtime
  • The Last Shadow Puppets - The Age of the Understatement
  • Tokyo Police Club - Elephant Shell

Purchased off iTunes.

Queens Of The Stone Age - No one Knows
Green Day - Minority

And....

Foo Fighters - Learn To Fly (Video)
Foo Fighters - Monkey Wrench (Video)

Also from iTunes:

The Isley Brothers
- Footsteps In The Dark (featured in GTA:IV ;) )
Guns & Roses - Welcome To The Jungle
Phil Lynott - Yellow Pearl
Tears For Fears - Mad World
The B-52's - Roam
Funkadelic - You Hit The Nail On The Head
Cliff Richard - We Don't Talk Anymore

Just picked up "The Red Album" by Weezer. I haven't listened to them in ages, but so far it's pretty good, my only complaint is the fifth song, "everybody get dangerous" it starts off sounding identical to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but even that ends well.

Also got "A Colt 45 Christmas" by Afroman, who never disappoints.
