yes indeed its a top notch album a good selections of tracks and well mixed.

If you liked that album you may like these...

Those are three stomping albums, The Scratch Perverts is classed as a classic.

I've already got FabricLive 26. I'll definetly check the others out. 👍

Well I got them and they do indeed rock. 👍

I did get "Dig Out Your Soul" by Oasis, today.

I've read people call this CD a comeback. Yeah, right. "Don't Believe The Truth", maybe. This one, just OK at best, so far.

The Raconteurs (also known as The Saboteurs, though I much prefer the proper name), Consoler of the Lonely.

I first hit upon these guys when I read that Jack White was performing the title theme to Quantum of Solace. I only knew White from The White Stripes, and even then, I'd only heard Seven Nation Army (which I'm nota fan of). I wanted to hear what kind of music he created, and a quick search yielded The Raconteurs. I only heard a few songs at the time - again, to get an idea of White's sound - but I enjoyed them so much that it prompted me to go out and buy Consoler of the Lonely (still looking for Broken Boy Soldiers).

As a measure of the kind of music White would produce for a James Bond theme, it's terrible. No two songs are in the same genre, and the album bounces back and forth all over the place from song to song, be it grunge-inspired Salute Your Solution or Dylan-esque Carolina Drama. It's the most eclectic album I've ever heard, and I absolutely love it, probably because I'm the most eclectic person I know. I'm still having a hard time chosing my favourite song from the aforementioned two tracks as well as These Stones Will Shout, Consoler of the Lonely, Many Shades of Black and You Don't Understand Me. I've also heard atrack or two from Broken Boy Soldiers - namely Steady As She Goes - and I'm liking it too, if only for its almost listless and orderless approach.

For the record, I'm since heard and am also loving Another Way to Die, the Quantum of Solace theme. Must get me some more Jack White, though the next two albums on my list are Kings of Leon's Only By the Night and Oasis' Dig Out Your Soul ...

Scary Kids Scaring Kids - self titled: Nice CD. Some good metal stuff in here. I remembered the band from the iTunes' free single, a while back.

Daft Punk - Discovery: A real classic, but I did not like it back when. I happened to hear a little bit of "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger", and I had to get the CD. I still don't care for over half of the stuff in here, but considering I paid just few bucks on eBay, I can't complain. :D "Harder..." is much better than I remembered it. 👍

I bouught the CD in Thailand back when it was released, and I got to say I enjoyed listening to all their singles on TV, so it was definitely worth buying it there. (well it was cheaper buying there than here, cause of their weak currency :p) Although I wish they included the Interstella 5555 music video in their album (but maybe that is too much to ask....)

Yeah, its definitely one of their "better" albums. 👍

I picked up couple more from them on iTunes this time:

Daft Punk: Robot Rock + Technologic

Pretty good. 👍

(New Zealand band) Opshop - Second Hand Planet
The Script
Ministry of Sound - Maximum Bass Xtreme
Platinum Rock (Rock compilation)

Just bought another album today, not sure about what to say about the title thought.....

TragiComedy - Songs That Won't Sell

Well the album has been out for a while now, but I haven't really have the chance (or time and money at that) to go out and buy the album. Plus, finding the album on stock was a little bit hard to say the least (and I got lucky and got the digipak version :D) Now as for the music, I did really liked the 2 songs that I downloaded that was quite nice to listen to, which was "Never Lonely" and "Great New Life". The other songs were quite good as well, but I don't really know how to describe their music somehow...... :indiff:

If any of you are interested, you could listen to their preview of the album on their website. 👍

I just purchased a compilation CD of Wagners classical works. I've really gotten into classical music lately, which is a world away from my usual taste - Trance, and DnB. I don't know how or why this has happened, but I'm liking what I hear!

Classical is the ultimate 'change up', yes?

I was taught Classical piano at early age, but I absolutely hated it. But I was never against casually listening to them, here & there. One day, actually, it was the film called "Se7en" that got me sold. Bach in the Morgan Freeman scene(I think it was 'Air'), I thought that was the most beautiful music I had ever heard. Bach's been one of my all-time favorite since. No matter the type of music you are into(I'm into just about all of them), Classical provides an wonderful change of pace.

That was off-topic. Sorry.

Led Zeppelin II.

Thinking of getting this as it's got the Bonham solo on it. I feel it's something I should own to be able to listen to 4+minutes of him on the drums!
