My brother gave me this bootlegged Jack Johnson concert CD a couple of weeks ago. It is amazing. I so need to see him live. 👍

Duran Duran - Wedding Album

Depeche Mode - The Singles 81-85........ Songs I wanted were on the second greatest hits. Doh!

I just bought Nelly Furtado's single, "Say It Right"

It was worth the 79p just for the pic that comes with it 👍

You don't know me, but one day, I ran into a post of yours. It described what I was feeling, perfectly. Due to changes made on the forum software or something while back, we are no longer able to quote anything new on our sigs. As a result, I've kept this sig for a very long time. :D

Bedouin soundclash - Street Gospels
Cary Brothers - Who Are You
The Congos - Heart of the Congos
George Carlin - Life is Worth Losing
Lazlo Bane - All the Time in the World
The Network - Money Money 2020
OAR - Live from Madison Square Garden
Queen on Fire - Live from The Bowl
Sponge - For All the Drugs in the World

The Soundclash album's tip-top, as is the OAR, Queen and Sponge. I wouldn't recomend Cary Brothers unless you're a girl, and Lazlo Bane is borderline.

The Fast and Furious sound track, sadly to say the movie was ok but the music is good.

I had a trip to Best Buy today and I picked up the following:

Rob Zombie: Past, Present, and Future

Paramore: RIOT!

I loves me some Zombie, but when I found out it would cost me nearly $20 to download it off of iTunes versus $10 in the store, that was a problem.

...And Paramore?

I've been following them all summer, and I'm surprised it has taken me this long to buy their CD.

Dance Gavin Dance - Downtown Battle Mountain
PlayRadioPlay! - The Frequency EP
Damiera - m(US)ic

Paramore: RIOT!

Are you kidding me? Oh well, it's not like they are that bad. I just hold a grudge against them. At Warped, everyone was trying to call Bad religion out for an encore, and before they were about to get back on stage Paramore started on the second main stage, thus killing all chances of a Bad Religion encore. :/ Sucks because the two main stages are side by side, so playing at the same time would be pointless..

anyway, on topic.

I bought Skid Row's Greatest hits the other day. Pretty good stuff to have in the car.

That sucks. But her hotness commands that she be heard, so I wouldn't have complained. Still, the CD was a lot better than I had expected, and I'm hoping they swing by Grand Rapids so I can see them in concert. I had originally planned to go to Warped in Chicago, but I didn't have enough time or money... As I had also planned to go to Project Revolution in Detroit (going on now I believe) to see MCR and Dave Mathews... But school got in the way. Crap.

Soul Asylum - And the Horse They Rode in on
Go Sailor - Go Sailor
Freezepop - Future Future Future Perfect
Jack Johnson - On and on

Pretty random mix: 90s rock, small-time California indie, synthpop, acoustic... Finally getting my music collection back up to speed.

Ladytron - Witching Hour
Modern English - Mesh and Lace
Kiss - Greatest Hits
Meatloaf - Bat Out of Hell
Scott Sullivan - Crushwater Symphony
Authority Zero - A Passage in Time
Daft Punk - Discovery
Sublime - Robbin' the Hood
Felix Da Housecat - Devin Dazzle and the Neon Fever
Echo and the Bunnymen - Crocodiles
Eels - Souljacker
Eels - Beautiful Freak
Dinosaur Jr. - Beyond
Guided By Voices - Live From Austin TX
Weezer - Maladroit
Nil Lara - self-titled
The Tough Alliance - A New Chance
The Church - Starfish

---

How's that for variety! At least 6 different countries, 4 decades and who knows how many genres. Mostly good, some not so good.

Just bought my 7th Steely Dan album, this time on iTunes... "Gaucho" is the only 'original' Steely Dan album missing from my collection...

Amazingly, you can buy all seven albums in one 'box set' (called "Citizen Steely Dan") for just £7.99 on iTunes  And to think my collection has cost me about £35 already :ouch:

And in the U.S., it looks like it's 66 songs for $24.99. Considering each songs by themselves go for $.99, it is a bargain!

I ordered these last week, but I've been ill, so I finally got around to picking these up today from BestBuy:
Jack Johnson - Sleep Through The Static(CD)

Jack Johnson(and Friends) - A Weekend At The Greek +Live In Japan(DVD)

DVDs I'm watching right now, and they are pretty cool. Just lots of his live footage, shot in style similar to DVD bonus feature documentaries. I haven't heard the new CD yet, but I hope it's good.

Metric- Old world underground where are you now.

Metric-Live it out

There's some decent Metric stuff out there, I like them. If you like that style, check out The Sounds and Shiny Toy Guns (hunt down the first release of We Are Pilots, it's better than the mainstream-produced version) who are also both good new wave-ey female vocal electropop bands.

Boards Of Canada - Trans Canada Highway

Agoria - At The Controls

Autecture - Amber
