What I mean is that like a song that you like but if you told your friends, youd get beat up for it.

Mine would have to be:

J. Giles band- Angel is a centerfold.:O

Back in high school I wore Metallica shirts and boots but I secretly liked Men Without Hat's Safety Dance, a couple Duran Duran songs like Rio and Hungry Like the Wolf, and Dexy's Midnight Runners' Come on Illeen.

I'm not aftraid to admit liking any music anymore.

Great topic.

I can't beleive I'm saying this but, Stupid Girl by Cold. I think the lyrics of this song are some of the most uninteligent drivil ever to be put into song, but I can't help but like the song structure and the overall sound. I hope none of my friends see this.:nervous:

i can't believe i'm saying this, but the only pop song i find to be half decent is:
Justin Timberlake - Cry me a river...but after i heard it 4 or 5 times, i don't like it too much anymore.

Emenem has an awesome remix of it - Superman i think?

Oh my god, neon. I use to love that song when it came out back in the day. I haven't heard the name Us3 in a long time.

Actually a lot of songs from The Smiths are good, but if I told my friends they would laugh at me..

What about: Fra Lippo Lippi - Shouldn't Have To be Like That :O

Scorpions - No One Like You
Baltimora - Tarzan Boy
Bee Gees - Tragedy
Fergal Sharkey - A Good Heart
Four non Blondes - Whats Up
Greg Kin Band - Jeopardy
Head Pins - Dont It Make You Feel
Opus - Life is Life
Patrick hernandez - Born To be Alive
The Box - Closer Together
The Cult - Love Removal Machine
Aldo Nova - Fantasy

i like songs by nsync, justin timberlake, sometimes bsb, and britney spears
most have good beats, and most just sound good :)

I think that a lot of music can become good if it's played in the right circumstances.

For example, there's this pub in Edinburgh called Frankenstein's. And every night at around 11pm, Frankenstein makes an appearance, and it all kicks off in a big 80's-nostalgia theme, and you get tracks like "I Think We're Alone Now" (Tiffany), which you wouldn't be caught dead listening to in normal life, but at that time of night, when you're in the middle of this massive party, having a great time, it's a fun tune.

So, it's all situational.

What? That is a great song!

Anyway, the song I'm probably embarassed to say that I like is any pop song. All my friends know that I am really into trance/house etc. and if they ever knew that I like some pop songs, then they would probably laugh their head off. :O
