What to do with Standard Cars (read OP first).

People have always been hating on standard cars and think of crazy ideas for what PD should with them, what is the option you like on the Poll.

To me; I don't care.

I love having cars that aren't readily available. It gives you a chance to show off in Free Run lobbies, with cars that are pretty rare.

Keep them I say, but create Premium equivalents. 👍

Most of the lobbies I enter include people who consider the Saleen S7 to be pretty rare.

So, I'll get mine out, blast up and down the Cote hill, until someone else inevitably gets theirs out and follows me, then smugly says "Yeah, I have like 3 of these"...there's a pause as he takes in his moment; then I tell him "Yep, I've got 7" and I drive off.

Standard model quality: Upgrade it.

Used Car Dealership system: Keep it. Lots of ways to improve how it's handled but I still like it as it is.

Now that you mention it, this thread is about the standard car quality, not the UCD.

I'm not someone with a great deal of disposable credits, but I bit the bullet and bought the R390 and the VW Nardo with my Academy Edition seasonal credits. They get so much coveting online.

Now that you mention it, this thread is about the standard car quality, not the UCD.

As the only way to obtain the Standard Cars is via the Used Car Dealership and the ever changing Online Car Dealership, the discussion can very easily branch into that topic. 👍

I think discussing how the Used Car Dealership is very relevant to the topic you've brought up. Especially since both you and Guardian both slipped into discussing that function so easily

Given the amount of time the game has been out, and the fact that GT6 is in the works, they should simply be left alone. GT6 on the otehr hand, should not have standard cars. It's far too late to expect anything major happening with the standard cars.

I don't care, I use bumper cam anyway, for the central rev counter and speedo, so don't see the difference while driving.

I don't really see the point of updating them at this time. As for GT6, remake some standards (a realistic ammount) to premium models.

I like standard cars. Always have. Some are modeled just like premium cars. Some, well not so much
I voted on keeping them how they are considering on how it makes up over 70%(?) of the cars in gt5 and if they should be all premium I say wait until GT6 for that.

I like the open top standards like the caterham fireblade,tank car and the Toyota 7 race car
