'93 Ford Ranger, stick shift. My dad gave me a quick lesson when I was about 13, but I damn near destroyed the thing (he hadn't explained to me at all how a clutch works, and I didn't even know the extreme basics such as putting in the clutch and brake when starting the engine, yet he just had me jump in and said drive it). Then, last summer (when I was a little over 15), they gave me "real" lessons on it, and now it's my daily driver. I drive the Subie whenever I can though (it has cruise control and a much better A/C pump).
The only autos I've driven were the ones during Driver's Trainings, and I'd like to avoid driving one ever again. The loss of direct control over the car doesn't make up for the "ease" factor to me.
