1. Drive to the store really fast and grab the only box left on the shelf.
2. Drive home and pull of some GTA moves in the process... :trouble:
3. Be as gentle as i've ever been and put the GT4 disc into my ps2.
4. Watch the awesome intro and start fiddling around in the game.
5. Go to every part in the game to see what is available and what i can do.
6. Go into arcade mode and race around for awhile to get used to the great new physics. Also check out photo mode to see what great pictures i can take!
7. Hit the online mode for awhile and maybe race a few.
8. Start the license tests.
9. Simulation mode from there on out! Bring on GT4!!!

I'll probably do something which would best be stated on one of those adult seedy forums

You know you're sad when GT is better than sex!

I'm not noob to gt code. I have gt4p so I know what to expect.
Kev didn't mean ywe'll all be noob's to GT, but noob's to GT4, and since none of us will be experienced at GT4 when it's first out we all will be in a sence. GT4P will not be enough to prepare you for the GT4 experience.

If pd make gt4 any more realistic, from gt4p, I dont what I'm going to do lol

I hope it's more realistic, although IMO they only need to work on the power delivery of the cars, the rest is realistic enough.

Atleast they can change the engine sounds beacuse I can't hear anything what's under the bonnet.

Yea, I know what you mean. But even if they dont fix that, gt4 will still be "the driving sim" in my opinion.

Are the engine sounds improved at all in Prolouge?

Personally I wish that the third person perspective had the same deeper engine sound that is experiences when playing the "in car" view.

I play the game with the view behind the car 'cause I like to see the vehicle as well as hearing it. In car gives a much better sense of speed, but what's the point of having loads of different vehicles if you can't see them? So I'll stick with the behind car camera until they do interiors (in GT5 hopefully).

Wodoo One Supra sounds awesome but the rest of them sounds just like in GT3 ,imo.

Agree.

Well that's reality is it not? Louder outside rather than in, take the Carrera GT for example, sounds like pure bliss from the outside but inside the sound is dampened, but not enough to spoil the enjoyment.

Prior to release, I'll try to accomplish as much work as possible to allow for a full day of playing.

- Early trip to the shops to pick up GT4.
- Barely make it home, from a combination of excitement and pretending I'm running a race.
- Put on some coffee, plop down in my chair and read the manuals, somehow making it through a good portion before the little red guy on my left shoulder convinces me to just "play the $&#@ thing already!" Oddly, the little white guy on the right agrees.
Haul the PS2 upstairs to be free of people wanting to either watch tv, talk to me, or suggest that I sleep, eat, shower, etc...
- Watch the intro movie before heading to sim mode and checking out all the cars available.
- After changing my pants, check out the other new features, including online, if on this magical day I've managed to come up with $90 instead of $50.
- Spend the rest of the day playing around, starting sim mode and running some license tests.

The car sounds in Prologue are more sharper/clearer than in previous games and the R34 Skyline GT-R, Integra Type R and Subaru Impreza WRX (old) all sound noticeably (sp) more realistic from GT3.

In English,
I think he means he is going to test drive the above said cars in Arcade Mode and then compare them to above said cars in GT3 and see if the car sounds have improved in GT4.

Ah no, i was referring to a post about four above my one.

first thing i will do in GT4:

play arcade until i unlock the infamous Nurburgring, then, 3 hours of straight cruisin on the Nurb in the R34 GT-R VSpecII Nur

If only Eagle had called himself Phoenix, he could watch that replay over and over and over.

The first thing I will do when I get GT4: Play it. Is there really anything else to do? (This dosn't mean get creative and say all the things one could do when they first get GT4)

Eagle, a Phoenix is a mystical bird that will be reborn after dying. Its in one of the Harry Potter films.
So after dying from watching the video you will be reborn and then you can watch the video again and die again, be reborn etc etc,

I always thought a Phoenix was a bird of fire, didn't know about rebirth. Thanks 👍 I don't see why I can't be Phoenix too, I've been Canary and Pigeon randomly in games when called for (I alias a lot).
