All in all, what mission(s) did you enjoy most?

I really liked the missions with Catalina, flying the Hydra for the first time was pretty cool too!

I think my favorites were Tereno's missions. Namely Stowaway where you had to bored the large plane and destroy it. I heard some guy got a glitch where that large plane in Stowaway continualy spawns at the airstrip. He says you can fly it and it's called "Andromoda".

I also liked the gang wars part; Although, it wasn't a mission.

The mission where you had to sneak around Madd Dogg's mansion killing his guards was good. It was something different for a GTA game.

The mission where you're on the back of Smoke's big being chase Terminator 2 style down the flood channel was really cool too. But I generally don't like missions where you're just aiming and firing gun and not in control of driving or moving.

The mission for Toreno, where CJ and Cesar go jack a truck (Cesar jumps onto it from the bike) is pretty cool too!

i like the mission of not being on a mission.. that's why i buy these games :) i just beat the missions to unlock 100% stuff
I'm kinda the same. I can't remember half the missions in San Andreas. Now that I have 100%, the real fun starts. Racing, rampages, exploring, stunting, etc.

But I'd be surprised if I didn't go back and repeat the missions again eventually. I did it a whole bunch of times in Vice City and in GTA III.

i probably wont.. the only reason i beat VC multiple times was due to 1) friend broght his xbox over and i decided to replay it on xbox 2) my original save game from VC is not compatible with my new version of the game :(

I liked the Catalina missions to, they had a Bonnie and Clyde theme going there. Black Projects was fun the first time. What you find at the end isn't what you expect when you first arrive to the place :)

Any of the early learn-how-to-use-all-these-new-features missions, those were the most fun because at that time the game seemed so huge, living, real.
Just exploring Los Santos, seeing the hugeness of the freeway for the first time.

Also, this wasnt even in the game, but the first time I opened up the map/poster thing and saw how big SA is... wow....

i really liked the badlands A and B missions. And i also liked the last mission and the bank heist and the last trucking mission. I dont think there were enough driving missions, like the Driver in VC, or in gta3 you had 5 stars and had to haul arse to the nearest save point, that is lots of fun

I liked the two that you did for Woozie where you board that container ship, they were great fun! :)

I liked the first set of Los Santos Gang missions, as they had authenticity to them. Woozie's missions (San Fierro and Las Venturas) were great. Wang Autos missions were pretty fun. Most of the stuff with Cesar was good.

I can certainly say I won't pick Zero's missions!

But all in all, I think the whole Heist preparation and the Heist itself were the best missions in the game. I really enjoyed those.

Heist and Verdant Meadows were good... (Esp Black Project)

The Early Gang missions altho easy were really good for getting into the story.

Toreno had some quality missions (Esp Vertical Bird).

Cesar's Gone in 60 Seconds missions were good.

All of Wuzi's missions were awesome.

And I liked Zero's last mission.

has to be stowaway for me, i absolutely adored the fact that i had to get onto that plane fast, and then defeat the guys on board, in a wesley snipes, passenger 57 stylee, then i have to skydive outta that thing?!!!
yippee.
that was just so much coolness rolled into one mission.
and it was all over in 2 minutes ( i finished it first time )
man i loved that.
hey small fryz, u do know that you can race the badlands race missions at any time now, dont you?
theyre at the chequered flag symbol in glen park in los santos.

I liked Stowaway alot. The second time (I have finnished the main story twice..) I did it the bomb didn't go off when I activated the detonator but it still dissapeared from the weapons selection. So what I did what every sane person would. I turned around grabbed my rocket launcher and fired one in to the back of the plane :dopey:, worked like a charm. I love the fact that you can do everything in GTA in many different ways, it keeps the game fresh.

Stowaway was fun, yeah. But it coulda been a bit meatier, only took a few seconds... :)

What it weird was that my first time, the guard with the satchel charges planted one and destroyed the plan himself, causing a cutscene of the plane crashing and me getting wasted without the "Wasted!" screen... O_o

I really liked that Big Smoke mission with all the Russian guys, too. Both parts were fun, but the bike ride was definitely better. Mmm... my first taste of the MP5.

One of the other missions I thought was good was "Los Desparados" Some quality shooting action in that one...

If that's the mission where you take back Cesar's gang's turf, then I agree.

All of the Main Story Missions were great. But I'm going to say that all of the Los Santos Missions combined make for the best missions and story, including the Beginning and Return. They were very involved and felt quite real to me. They weren't all insane, but kept it at a nice pace.

That's the one... I especially liked the Tag that was above the door in that mission... who else took time out to spray that during the mission?!?

I agree with the LS Missions having the best storylines... they all linked very well... some of the SF missions were kindof just like filler to get you to LV... (But not all of them!)

C.

I think that they were a relief. I know I felt relieved there, as the Los Santos Missions were very involved. When you got to San Fierro, you kind of forget about Sweet and focus on doing your own thing for a little while, and that I liked.

So in my opinion, they weren't "fillers", but more laid-back.

I can't pick a favorite but liked several (mainly because they were new type GTA missions--very different from previous types of GTA missions)

The one on the back of Smoke's Bike---(I wish he would have hit more jumps)

Stowaway--although they should have put a tight time limit (it was too easy in that as long as you took it slow, it wasn' t problem) on it so when you jumped out you were still on land--if you went too long you would land in the water--- just so there wasn't an arbitrary time limit like in some missions.

The mission where you steal the jet pack--- did anyone manage to enter the main way (keep their stealth) or was the mission designed to enter through the vent shaft--

The Madd Doggs mission (where you steal his rhyme book)--

Vertical bird---although they should have made it harder to steal it (there were only about 6-8 people on that big ship).

Catalina and heist missions-- mainly because the cutscenes at the beginning were so funny.

I'm sure there were others but they don't come to mind.

I went in through the vent shaft.

I'm dissappointed that you can't go back to that area. I wandered around Area 69 for a while looking for an entrance and going back to that vent but there doesn't seem to be a way back in. Why bother designing that interior for just one mission? Why not just leave it open for after that mission?

I went through the Vent Shaft. So far I know of noone who went through the proper way. Have you asked on GTAForums?

I agree. I mean, they left the door open to the back area of Caligula's Palace where you done the Heist (and you don't get chased or shot at either). Why not leave that open? I was pretty disappointed by that. You could have done a big chase down there and had a good shootout on 5 Stars.

I entered through the Vent shaft, I didn't even bother trying to be stealthy, I was feeling rushed so I just ran in and shot people. Luckily there was another way inside :dunce:

my favourite was the riot missions (and just the rioting itself) and the one where you go back to Liberty City, that was cool., but when you infiltrate area 69 and the mission where you kill big smoke at the end were the best and my personal faves
