anyone knows if there's any available DLC for Wheels and rims?

I want T.I.S. (i know they're not racing quality rims but they do look good) if it was possible but the chance of a rim dlc pack coming is slim to none...

I want it like GT3 where you can buy wheels from other cars... Like you could put three different choices of Nismo wheels on the cars, etc.

Though bleak as it is...would still love to have it on dlc ...,

A lot of us would, or at least the option to use all of them, and not just the limited selections that change depending on the car.

The only set of rims I really want are the Magnum 500's off the Mach 1 and Chevelle for other muscle cars. They look SEXY on that Shelby.

No we have no information yet. I wouldn't buy it, because it is the same like the Paint DLC.
They didn't created a good tuning and paint system and now want to make money with their failure? Nope.

I see reasons to get car and track DLC, but i think the paint pack shouldn't exist. Every other game with colours deliver those for free and you can use them everytime. You also get a preview before purchase.

Do i like the idea to tune cars better and get more rims and wheels? Of course

Do i think it's fine to sell a DLC, because they failed to deliver a good tuning- and paint system? No.

What is Next? Pay for day-/night cycle on SPA and other tracks, because they didn't deliver?

We shouldn't buy everything if we don't want F2P.

A person in the industry made an interesting statment.

If people like game and play long enough they're stupid enough to purchase for every reload in a shooter.

And sadly i have to agree. I don't mean the person that asked for more rims and wheels.

I'm not bothered, but other people might like this.
Just like the paint pack, I think it would be a smart thing to do.

But no matter what, people will start complaining that it's to expensive.:indiff:

A smart thing to do in a company point of view. I am the only person that realize that every other game offers free and unlimited colours and PD could make the DLC, because they made a worse paint system.
Why do people ask for rims and wheels? Because they didn't create a good tuning system.

If we purchase or want those things the Publisher will use this to sell everything in the future.

It'll only get worse. This was the first step to F2P.

They should first start with making all wheels available for all Premium cars as that would already expand the possibilities hugely.
As it currently stands (for whatever, presumably technical reason) with this limitation, there won't even be much use for new ones, I mean if they can't already match the existing selection to all cars, they can't match new ones either I think.
If this can be solved first, then they can add new wheels as DLC perhaps.

I indeed meant it would be a smart thing in a business point of view.
Let's face it Sony and PD are still businesses that want to make the highest profit they can.

And I didn't say I would purchase this.
In fact I'm sure I won't.
Because I don't care about rims or colors.

But other seem to be very eager to get more rims and are willing to pay for it. So who can blame Sony or PD to help them out?

(PS: What does F2P stand for?)

Free 2 Play.

You have 10 cars and 5 tracks for example and buy every DLC car, track, paint snd other stuff with $.

That could mean they sell 1000 cars for 0,20$ each . Tracks for 1$. paint for 0,05$.

At the End of the day you pay much more than 60$. Something like 200$ if you want more content. But you can play for free.

People in the gaming industrie want to use F2P to earn much more money. 1 person said some people would purchase every reload in a shooter if they enjoy the game.

Its a matter of personal choice, but i dont wand colors either

No, unfortunately, but man, wouldn't I love one though. I think the least they could do is let us paint the stock rims that come on the cars. Some cars come with pretty nice rims already.

Thats Gran Turismo 4 where you can use stock wheels from other cars.

Amen dude

They should make like a DLC pack with New rims, paints, Various car body parts too!

They should release an update 3.0 for Christmas and deliver all are wishes. One can dream. sometimes I can't believe PD released this and called it an all new game. What we got is about 200 or so premium cars, better physics, better graphics for the tracks and a few new tracks and thank god for seasonal events. If it weren't for those things, this game has less content than GT4 in a lot of areas such as rim selection, offline gameplay, loss of many tracks that were in GT4, a lot of good cars from GT3 and GT4 should have been included even if they were just standard. Yet I still love this game as it is the best console racing game out.

I rest your case dude, amen to that!a few new cars would be nice idd.and keep updating the seasonal event :-)but thats nothing to complane about,

At least we can finally change the wheels on standards. That was beyond frustrating when the game first came out.

I'm not complaining at all, love this game, just constructive criticism. In fact, out of all things I can think of to criticise, I'd have to say one of my biggest issues would be how PD got the specs for the '07 premium Mustang all screwed up. 65/35 front to rear weight distribution. On what planet did they get this info from. And then they give the Camaro 48/52 weight dist., which is opposite from real life car. Every car mag I could get my hands on lists the Mustang at 57/43 and the Camaro at 52/48. Then they follow it threw, giving the Mustang ridiculous understeer and front tire wear, while the Camaro handles like a true sports car. Even with full weight reduction and ballast towards the rear. This has made it almost impossible for me and my buddy to have Camaro Vs. Mustang wars on GT5. As well as it constantly gets ommitted from series racing here that is geared toward SCCA, Continental sports car real life series, etc. even though in real life it is very competitive in such racing and in fact dominated the Continental sereies for a couple years.
