We know it won't be the same as the single player, but KY is hoping to include as much as possible in online thats in single player and more, and where did KY say not to expect too much,? The last he said about it was he'd sorted the problems which was at E3.

Stab the brake, turn the wheel. Smacking back to tarmac the tyres shriek as they lock, grip evaporates, the cars spins like a dial....
Tarmac, Grass, Armco. Ouch. The impact blurs the vision.
its nearly six seconds before we come to a stop, idling in the middle of the track facing the wrong way. At nine seconds we breath out.
What the hell? Gran Turismo has changed.
Its gone hardcore.

We now know that GT4 Prologue was misdirection, sleight of hand.
Gran Turismo 4 has taken a step forward, and its a big one.
The handling has changed significantly, and although its still very recognisably GT, Its much harder to control.
Making a corner is no longer simply a case of stabbing the turn in point and nailing the throttle.
The cars are so precariously balanced, even hitting the rev limiter is enough to caause oversteer, even if your in a fast turn.

GT4 has upped its game.
Success requires far greater levels of finesse and subtlety than any other game on the market.
If you turn in a quick lap here youll genuinely desrve it.
This game has gone to a level previously only seen in PC simulations.

CAN YOU HANDLE IT.
The version we played-and we were the first outside Sony and Polyphony to do so, and does not include the Arcade mode.
Impressively Powered up are the indicators of speed.
Bumpy tracks shake you hard enough to make vision difficult, while shady sections are very hard to see.
Engine sounds are harsh and six cars together sound furious.
Sadly the Replay collisions look and sound familiarly Rubbish!

We Cross referenced the game with Prologue, driving the same car around the same track in each.
There Is NO comparison.
GT4 is a New game.

Oh boy, I hope thats right, I hope GT4 has gone that extra step top PC sims took long ago. As for the online it said it is also possible to play this mode online (talking about arcade mode) whch hints that it's not the only way to play GT4 online.

if ya really want a true reading of how good you are in a game - you have to race against a person or as in gt's case 5 peeps .

I did. I won. A lot. But I am under no illusions - I wasn't the best driver in that room (of 14).

I'll tell you what - I'll even verify your times for you. I have an Xport - all that's required is that you send me "a" memory card with the relevant replays on. I believe I have a reputation for honesty - although it's not something I can proclaim myself, you'd have to ask my peers here - and can guarantee you'll get the card back (after all, you'll have my address, and it only takes 2 hours to get to Swindon from here).


The thing is, when you're in a local area, you can happily be under the illusion that you're the best in the whole world. Newsflash - you probably aren't. I'd never been beaten in person until I went to the iLink (although I still came off well, I thought), yet in the big wide world of online racing, I'm merely in the "good" category (if you beat me, you're doing well. If you don't, you're not necessarily not doing well). If you think you've put a lot of time into GT3, wait until you come across Arco/Weise, Flinx, big p, Max E., Mr. P, jmr and characters of that ilk.

The phrase is "Put up, or shut up.". With no proof, you have no place to "lay your smack down" - we've all been there, seen it, done it and got the bloke's skull impaled on a spike outside GTP Towers.

The best tiems are what matter, and thoes are pretty much all backed up by a replay, as for your memory card, you WOULD get it back, besides your working so you've got £20 to spare, buy another one and duplicate your save just incase you don't get it back which won't happen anyway. You maye be good at the game but your not very smart, you don't need that many brain cells to realise that bragging in online forums doesn't go down well, especially when you just signed up a couple of weeks ago. 2. Will you have to send memory cards as proof of times?
3. Can you just take a picture of your TV screen with the lap time showing a bit of your room to prove it is real?

In GT4 we wont need to do all of that because it's online, I suppose for thoes who don't have the network adapter they will have to show some proof, if the photo is good enough quality for them to spot if it's a fake or not then I don't see why that won't do.

Every site that has a decent community is like this, GTP is probably the best GT community on the web, sure you might be the fastest but how do you expect people to believe you when all the other top drivers have taken time to prove their times and you haven't? Also until you started bragging you wern't accused of anything, how would you expect a site that has some of the fastest GT3 players on it react if I came here and said, I've seen all thoes top times at GT times and racing line and I was not impressed, "I've beaten pretty much every record on them", and then I didn't provide proof, I'd get jumped on.
Edit: After that last post I'd like to say you sound like no 30 year old I've met, your the one who's not friendly here, all you need to do is either stop going around saying your great and can beat the records or prove the claim, if you stop saying it we will all forget, we still won't believe you but we'll forget about the matter and move on.

Do you mean that Honda UK let you drive one of their cars (or a customer´s one), without you having a license?? That is not covered by any insurance!! Did they know you did that??!

If you know how to drive, and you do it so well in real life, then why wouldn´t you take your driving test, and have a license?? I´ve had my license since the first day I was legally allowed to have one!!

By the way, you must have very good natural talents to drive a car on track so well, without ever having driven on the streets? Now you will tell me you don´t need a license to do that...

Being such a great GT enthusiast, you should like cars, don´t you?

Besides, you can have both the car and bike license.

WEll i been on here for a couple of weeks - if you lot would be a bit nicer and a bit more friendly to newcomers then i maybe would post some times - and purchase the necessary x- port stuff - instead its straight in with the slaggin off - and PROVE IT NOW OR YOUR FULL OF **** -
