The Toyota FT-86 Concept can be purchased in matte black and it's cheaper than the LFA, but I don't know if you recieve the paint chip when you buy it.
Yes, forgot about this, but as previously mentioned you don't get the paint chip from the FT86 (which is weird because the G Sports gives its colour shifts away)(plus the LFA has a load of colours).
And the SLS can be bought with a matte paint but it's actually grey rather than black.

Well, I put Matte Black (I'm not excited about matte colors to begin with) on my Lamborghini Superveloce 640... that car. I chose that color to provide that sort of carbon fiber race car color. That's a color I reserve for high-end race car machines. Or at least, vastly-upgraded cars of mine. I need to tune that Lambo because it handles worse than a stock car...
IMO, most cars look good with a matte black or matte dark grey paint. I have a bunch of cars that I've painted matt black (matt not matte) from buying a Lexus LFA in that color.
BMW even has a paint finish IRL that is a high quality matte black finish right from the factory. I believe it's called "frozen black". There's also "frozen grey".
Ive painted my Dodge Challenger RM Matt Black off the LFA. Looks pretty good. I used another Matt Black for teh Rims on my Matte Pink Camaro '10. I prefer it on wheels instead of the car body.
TVR Speed 12, hands down looks awesome in matte black without wing, if batman had to drive a completely stock car other than paint, that's what he'd drive
Let me tell, i have so far 100 cars in my favorites (well, big deal...), but the interesting is that all of them are finetuned for drifting AND using Matt Black (from LFA) and when possible, inferno orange (from Camaro '10) on the rims.
I can tell that many standard cars doesn´t looks good in Matt Black, simply cant capture the "matte black feel". But some other looks even better, because the collor "fix" some poligon issues.
In the end I went for the citroen gt race car and it looked, well, disapointing ive now realised that you can get more matte black from the LFA. Might paint the gtr that colour. Thanks for all the posts and keep the pics coming
I rather like the way my Audi TT by HPA turned out in flat black. I changed the wheels to Enkei RCT4, in white to match the tuners stickers.
If I could have the wheels changed and bumpers removed on a Karmann Ghia I'd probably hold that as my favourite "flatblacker."
Just a thought: the Richardson Buick -62 Special would look awesome in flat black.
I painted a 458 Italia matte black, and I hate it. Really not nice to look at at all. I don't really like matte black much, in fact most of the matte colours are pretty bad (except I have a matte dark grey S1 Elise RM with white Enkei competition S2 wheels which is simply delightful and a matte black Mazda AZ-1 with Taiga green metallic wheels) here are some colours I do enjoy:
Mod Blue (from the new Fiat 500),
Imperial Green Metallic (Lotus Carlton),
Taiga Green Metallic (BMW 2002 Turbo),
Orange something (The 70's Civic 1500),
French Blue (can't remember the car),
That Ferrari colour with Daytona in the name and
Super Bright Yellow which can be found on a Celica of some kind.
Also if anyone wants a free matte colour send me a friend request and I'll send whoever I pick one of whatever I have the most of, I don't use them but I do like to collect.
