V8 Supercars, mainly to get the tracks rather than different liveries, and at least one Holden V8 Supercar.

 👍

One of the few motorsports I would see in TV, along with NASCAR. And definitely race in, of course.

V8 Supercars without a doubt!! Intense racing and fun to drive circuits... but as a second opinion, i would go for "Stock Car Brasil" ...

Gotta be F1... come on, its the pinnacle of motorsports! Yeah, there have been a few F1 games, but IMHO, they all suck.

Pikes Peak ... I want this race back :D

FIA GT! And its forerunner BPR aswell. I´d like to see every GT1 car made from -94 up till now! Well, maybe skip the ones that never raced...

I voted for FIA GT, but I suppose on second thoughts I'd probably like the now defunct WSC.

I'd love to see historic races and championships - 60's/70's/80's F1, 60's/70's/80's/90's BTCC, World Sportscar Championship 1982-1992 group c era, Can AM.....I could keep going. Basically classic cars and tracks.

I guess I am starting to talk about a whole GT game here rather than GT5 content - Gran Turismo Legends anyone?

Although I put FIA GT series, it was a really close call between that and the Australian series, which is a blast to watch on TV...

plus Bathurst is just an incredible track.

I picked Formula 1 from the poll, but that was because there was no WSC option, I doubt we will see F1 for a long time, until Sony finally fork over for the license.

But the WSC is probably far easier to license and the only real huge manufacturer it would be missing is Porsche (a biggie but not game-breaking). It has all the great tracks that F1 does with a few bonus extras and it would make the endurance races a bit more meaningful rather than being a group of races that reward the best cars in the game.
Spa, Silverstone, Monza, Suzuka, Fuji, Le Mans, Brno, Nurburgring, Brands Hatch, Mosport, Kyalami, Imola, etc have all been in the WSC. All 1000km races.

Just need full mechanical damage and accurate tyre and fuel consumption simulation and nice selection of Group C cars and we're in for some fun. Add in online driver-changes and its going to be awesome!

I voted FIA International GT Championship (GT1, GT2, GT3 &/Or GT4), but would also like to see V8 Supercars as well as Trans-am, and more focus on F1 then GT4 and GT5p.

I'm hoping NASCAR and INDY are accurate with rules and racing.

Bathurst, and older F1 cars are a must as well.

Ginetta Junior single make racing series. It's very fun to watch, great battles from very young drivers. Would be great for online racing in GT5 on small racing circuits.
They are tiny cars with a 1.4 normally aspirated engine of standard tune. Cheap racing cars.

The British GT would be good with the Zytek LMP-engined G50Z.

What other proof do you need?

 Lets just say that quoting wikipedia as "proof" is like me saying I asked a bloke in the pub and saying he agreed with me.

What other proof? How about a credible website first?

I'd like to see either Formula Drift, American LeMans(with GT1 cars), or Lamborghini Gallardo Super trofeo.

I wonder what other Le Mans race cars, PD might include other than the R10, 787B, XJR-9LM, R390 & Panoz.Nissan R86C, XJR-12, Toyota GT-One, XJR-14, XJR-15, 88 Minolta Toyota.Maybe PD will include some post ww2 exotica, i haven't a clue.Anyway back to topic.

I'm not too interested in any drift series. I tend to avoid them like they have AIDS. Besides, all those liveries... :D

I voted FIA GT (1, 2, 3 AND GT4, thank you), but I want everything Kazunori can possibly wedgie in. Yeah, even drifting.

I'm talking about both offline and online for clarification.

I for one will be spending the majority of my time offline, may hop online once in awhile for a different experience. I'm kinda hoping they go all out on the single-player, and the online can be worked on for a long time.
