Me, I just spent a grand on a 55" curved telly just to play racing games on. Can't quite stretch to a rig yet though. Baby steps...

That console bundle is shifting a lot of Standard Editions (or perhaps vice versa). Looks like we've got a race on to top the poll.

I was .... working hard, because I needed ca$h to buy Xbox One, FM5/FH2, PS4, GTA5, Far Cry 4. :scared:
Now, my back and my head hurts :ouch: and I have no ca$h left. :(
Back to work? Mmmmmmm, I'm thinking about it. :yuck:

BTW: I can not cast my vote here,
because I don't see the option for: "The Ultimate Free Edition". :grumpy:

Xbox store. It costs 372 PLN in Poland but I've managed to get 600 PLN worth of pre-paid cards for 380 PLN.
 
Pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition (digital) because mostly I would receive all the benefits that the game would have for me by then.
 
I'm planning on getting the Ultimate edition, but more than likely I will be getting the disc version. Does that mean early access won't apply to disc users?

Not yet but anything is possible. Halo 5 got enough complaints from the community for the lack of having a disc for the LCE. Now they are now selling a disc version of the LCE. So maybe if enough people voice their opinions for F6, it could happen. I think there should always be a choice between both.

I already bought the digital Ultimate edition so I am content with that. I normally like the disc but I have been buying more and more digital games lately. The huge advantage is less wear and tear on the disc drive. No chance of a scratched disc. Plus its lightning fast swapping from game to game on the X1 if they are digital. On top of that they usually let you pre-load a digital game a week or two in advance. That means when it hits midnight, you are playing before anyone else. :)

I don't doubt that digital is more efficient but I'm old-school, I like a box on my shelf :D

That's why I'm holding out. It's increasingly seeming like that won't happen though. I'm giving it a month before I just grab the Ultimate digital... and then book the 10th off work :D
 
Damn I didn't even realize that. Total bummer. I barely have any space left on my hard drive. And I would much rather have a disc as well, at least a trade in is possible with it in the future.

Oh trust me, I am only just now over the last month or so starting to convert to digital. I usually would much rather have the disc. Not only for showing (see gaming set up in sig) but for the simple fact that when I am done with the game, I can trade it in. Cant do that with digital.

So at this point I will still probably buy both digital and disc. The mass majority of all my BC games from the 360 that I want on the X1 will be re-purchased as digital.

You would need the space regardless. EVERY game has to be installed one way or another to the HD.

You should buy a 1 or 2 TB external HD. See this thread
 
Sadly, I don't think I'll be getting FM6 at all. It's not the game's fault though. The truth is, I just can't see myself playing a Motorsport game without my Fanatec. The reason I can play Horizon 2 with a controller is because it's a more laid back and casual racing game. But if I'm going to play a sim-focused racing game like Motorsport, I need to use a wheel.

For now, as far as the Motorsport series goes, I'm sticking with Forza 4.
