Which version of FM6 will you be getting?

I-really-don't-know.

All I want is my Ultimate Edition, physical. Disc + all the codes of the content and some goodies. And I can't get it.
If I want to have the disc, I must pay 65€. Standard game, no extra content except for the 10th anniversary cars, I guess.
If I want all the extra content, I must pay 99$...but I don't have a freaking physical disc with me.
If I get the physical disc of the standard game + ultimate edition I feel ripped off because I end up paying 2 times for FM6 (physical game + digital version included in the xbox one store bundle) and that's why it costs so much.

I could buy the standard game at gamestop....but do you know if these will be available in outside of the US? And are those cards that you buy in shops or just codes given online? I'm confused.

VIP http://www.gamestop.com/xbox-one/dlc/forza-motorsport-6-vip-membership/123881
CarPass http://www.gamestop.com/xbox-one/dlc/forza-motorsport-6-car-pass/123880

I don't see them on the italian gamestop website

I'll be getting the standard version and then just buying the car pass and the VIP membership. I really don't care for digital only games and would prefer to have the disc.

I can't complete the survey because my option isn't there!
There should be 'Get best available disc version and DLC the rest'
I want to get the ultimate DISC version and hate all this 'Online Only' rubbish because...

1; I want the case etc. to go with all my others.
2; I'm worried about space - I can't add anything to my PS3 without having to delete something else first.
3; I don't like the way digital stuff GETS TURNED OFF ie ALL Original Xbox stuff has gone, cant get my FM2 LCE cars, MCLA and MSPR online unlocks no longer available etc. etc.
4; I Can't play The Crew when my internet goes down or something happens at their end.

But it looks like I will have to be punished for this and get the standard disc first and then buy the rest later.
I'm not OVERLY worried about paying more....but I do think its totally unfair if I miss out on any content, such as special cars etc. if I do it this way.

Also it seems as though there could be several disc versions? one with the 'Ten Year Anniversary' pack, and one without? and I've also seen one listed as 'Day One Edition' and what about disc pre-order bonuses?...They are making it VERY unclear about this and I think some sort of sticky should be made - while you can still pre-order - to explain to people like me which is which, and where to get it, and also if it's possible to get ALL the ultimate stuff as DLC later and still get the case and disc version etc. (as you can probably guess, I already have the FH2 DLC so I'm not worried about missing out on that)
I notice Game have a Limited Edition that includes a t-shirt listed now!..but I'm more interested in game content than keyrings, posters etc.....Even though I DO have GT5 Signature Edition!

I think Turn 10 would increase their upfront sales if they could be straight one way or the other about whether Ultimate Edition will be available in physical disk form as it looks like a few people here are holding off buying it for this reason. I'm happy paying eighty quid for a collection of bits and bytes but not everyone's the same. I guess some of them have one eye on the possible resale value.

I totally agree with the first bit, and I certainly am...but really, do you have to sully us with this Arthur Daley 'Mark it up, Sell it on' attitude! also most Special Edition stuff is a 'One Use' code anyway....although that doesn't seem to stop people describing second hand games with used codes as 'Complete' on eBay etc.

I didn't sully all of you... everyone's different, like I said. Those eBay copies came from somewhere though and there aren't many other advantages to having a disk other than being able to pass them onto someone else. Maybe some people want them for their display cabinet or something but it seems like a strange reason to miss out the early access to me.

If you decide to order now or already did between July, make sure you get the rewards credits which is on-going this month from Xbox Rewards under Racing Rewards. Below the Racing Rewards is another for pre-ordering, basically 15,000 credits back ($15), so consider all these when ordering.

OK according to this when pre ordering you can get 15,000 credits back but also you can get some for each game you buy. These are only valid if you are a gold member and registered in the rewards program from what I understood. Pretty helpful for people who are going to preorder the game (myself included)!

But that's pre-ordering through the Microsoftstore.com.
Is Microsoftstore.com available on Xbox One Marketplace/Hub ..?

Live rewards is a mess. I am trying to sign up for it but I can't. I am ready to buy Horizon 2 and I am holding back because I want to get the 1250 credits for buying a game...

this is want I am talking about it:
Make a purchase, earn Rewards
Never made a purchase from the Xbox Store? Now's the time to grab that game, movie, TV show or special avatar item you've been eyeing! After all, you'll get 1,250 Rewards Credits just for making it yours.
1,250 Reward Credits

Does this actually work or not? In case I am holding my purchase for nothing....

It's too late for me. I saw the post and just signed up but I preordered Ultimate Edition last month.

Pre-order at JB Hifi gives the WRX STI. EB Games, the Hellcat. Doesn't matter. The cars I want will be on the disc.
Yeah I have pre-ordered at EB Games so will get the Hellcat tune etc but also have already got the Ultimate Edition. So will get both disc and digital versions.

Purchasing copy from JB HI FI, then grabbing the Car Pass and VIP seperately. Thought about getting ultimate edition to get the game early but I thought about it again and would rather the physical copy.

Just canceled my preorder for the standard

Figured with recent developments on features and the car list I'm feeling confident enough in the game to invest in the ulitmate digital edition

Early access helps
My sentiments exactly :D

1. Wait until you have to move.
2. On Xbox One it doesn't matter. You have to install the entire game regardless of which version you choose.
3. Just keep your game on your HDD if you plan to play it years down the road. Online gets turned off for both digital and physical
4. That's The Crew's problem. The devs made it always online.
5. Guess what? You pay less money for the game AND get the box. You should be paying more than digital because of shipping, boxes, cover, discs, retail, etc. costs.

I pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition (Digital Version) on Monday. I normally prefer the physical disc version of games so this is against the grain for me. I just figured I will play FM6 so much that it would be nice not to have to switch discs all the time.

Will we still get the Pre order Miata if we are getting the normal game? I'll also be buying the VIP and car passes separately.

I guess it's more about where you're buying it from. Disc from the Microsoft Store costs the same as the digital edition from xbox.com (but yes, agreed, digital should technically be cheaper). Cheapest disc version I saw was A$30 cheaper than the digital, A$70 compared to A$100. Digital still works out cheaper than two discs though.

I absolutely prefer digital now for games I know I want to keep and play regularly. I have regretted buying the digital edition of Project CARS though. If you buy a game you end up not liking you're stuck with no way to resell.

Like you, I usually prefer the disc. But I have been buying more and more digital games on the X1. Especially some of the BC 360 games that are playable on the X1. Plus it saves wear and tear on the disc drive along with ease of swapping games.

Given my extremely bloated Steam library i was kind of surprised that i caught myself trying to find a physical edition of the ultimate bundle.... Maybe i was just too used to console games only coming on discs XD

Getting ultimate in any case. Seems like a good deal in the long run. No scratched CD's either.

Good point there, I don't normally resell my games, but I could see wanting getting rid of a game I didn't particularly care for.

The funny part is that it sounds incredibly lazy not wanting to get up to switch discs, I'm old enough to remember having to get up, walk over to the TV to switch the channel when the TV remote didn't exist. This is like a modern version of that. But the reality is, what do people do when they lose their remote? Do they walk over to the TV and manually operate it? No, they search everywhere for the TV remote instead.

Once you have a new convenience, it's hard to get rid of it.

I will still probably buy more games on disc that digital, but for games that I play a lot like Minecraft, Forza games and The Crew, it makes sense to have the digital versions just for the convenience alone.

Early access leads to ... early disappointment! :banghead:
I changed my mind about pre-ordering the Digital Download.
I'm doing it the "Old Fashioned Way": Pre-order the Standard Edition (or Day One if available)from Bestbuy/Walmart,
then, ... :boggled:
I might waste some more ca$h on VIP/DLC/etc... 🤬
Physically I know what I'm getting, but Digitally =:odd::nervous:

BTW: When is the Deadline for the Online Digital Pre-order? :indiff:
(just in case I change my mind again). :dunce:

Sorry if silly question...

I have ordered the new 1TB Forza Edition Console.
How/Where can I buy the ultimate edition of the game, is it possible to download in UK?
