Sorry if silly question...

I have ordered the new 1TB Forza Edition Console.
How/Where can I buy the ultimate edition of the game, is it possible to download in UK?

The Ultimate Edition is only available digitally for the moment. Those who already have the XB1 can pre-order it there. It should be available to download in the UK

You don't need a console yet and can order online at https://store.xbox.com/en-GB/Xbox-O...-Edition/9b0f4ea7-9a69-4599-8cf5-8c426a6c6928 if you want to pre order before the Xbox arrives.

Pre-order at JB Hifi gives the WRX STI. EB Games, the Hellcat. Doesn't matter. The cars I want will be on the disc.
Hey @05XR8 add me on Xbox for some racing. What's your XBL gamertag?

Digital Ultimate Edition. Getting everything 5 days early sounds great. though I would like to have a boxed version of it for my collection. Though we will see if I can pull myself away from MGS5 by then.

This is part of the disappointment, not owning an Xbox One yet.
Yes I could order UE and sell the code for the version that comes with the Forza 6 console but I'm not going to be able to get the benefit of playing it early simply because the console wont be sold till the official UK release date.

I may as well just wait and order eventual DLC packs.
Still have my FM Keyring and FM USB sticks from previous editions so really disappointing the 10th Anniversary release Ultimate Edition is digital only and with no physical disc/box/extras.

1. Wait until you have to move.
2. On Xbox One it doesn't matter. You have to install the entire game regardless of which version you choose.
3. Just keep your game on your HDD if you plan to play it years down the road. Online gets turned off for both digital and physical
4. That's The Crew's problem. The devs made it always online.
5. Guess what? You pay less money for the game AND get the box. You should be paying more than digital because of shipping, boxes, cover, discs, retail, etc. costs.

Thanks for that...but

1.The only way I'll be moving out of here is in a box, but even if I did my game stuff would be amongst the smaller things
2.I wasn't aware that the ENTIRE disc contents were transferred to the HDD - so I'll retract that one
3.As I said, I hate this online only stuff in that it becomes unobtainable when the makers have moved on to TNBT or go bust, I think it should all be put in a repository of files that anyone can get when the makers have stopped supporting the game ie. PGR2 DLC etc. along with a way of getting it onto the console in question, as you can 'Discover' a game long after its been superseded, then find you can't get half of it...not to mention YLOD's RROD's and memory card or HDD corruptions.
4. It doesn't matter who, or what, made The Crew always Online, it still is, and that's the bit I don't like.
5. I already said I'm not worried about paying for the stuff separately at the GREATER non bundle cost, but IF I end up having to buy two versions, for no real reason, to get all the bits I want then I think that entitles me to moan a bit.

I don't think you have to be worried about Microsoft going bust.

With the way Azure server works you'll never have a case where server support is stopped.

..given that I just ran through ALL previous forzas today to buy some cars on each, I dont think that "going unobtainable" is something that should worry you, at least on this platform specifically. ;)

What the heck is supposed to be online only about the digital version of a game that doesn't apply to the disk version as well? My downloaded games play just as well without signing into Xbox Live and if the console goes belly up I can just redownload it from the store at no extra charge. Just about the only difference besides packaging is that I don't have to hunt around for the physical copy when I want to play the game.

Personally, I'm more worried about my version of FM5 getting scratched and denying me access to the game I bought.

I got worse than scratches. Burglars stole my X360 with FM3, FM4 Limited Edition, Dirt 3, PS3 (from another house, where I don't live)
I promptly changed my password but I'm still worried about my microsoft account even thought I added two secondary email accounts to retrieve the main one. So **** this s***. I got the digital ultimate edition and when the physical copy of FM6 will be 50% off, like when I got FH2 new from gamestop at 30€, I'll get it too.

I don't have an xbox one yet, but I Pre-ordered the Forza Edition Xbox. So I guess that means I am getting the standard edition. I am going to have to buy the day one DLC and VIP pass separate. I have a question I'm not sure where to ask so I'll ask here, is it safe to assume that all purchased cars, dlc, and anniversary cars will be delivered directly to garage? I know this was a policy that was changed in Forza 5. Think 6 will be the same?

Definitely. Dan Greenawalt confirmed it on twitter a while back. I'll see if I can find the tweet

Could someone please tell me why, if I want to order the game (Ultimate Edition) by PC, the price is $99.95, but if I order it by Xbox One, the price is $114.99 ?? WT*
TY.

1) Switch your region to US
2) Buy $100 in US Xbox Live money on Amazon.
3) Apply codes to account, buy it.
4) Stop or delete the preorder it tries to download along with the DLC.
5) Change back to default region and download the preorder and DLC in your region.

I am feeling very satisfied having F6 ultimate ready on my hdd to go 8)
days will pass by very quickly too, with gears of war kicking it tomorrow.

good times to game

Ty for your reply, but it does not answer my question. :dunce:

Why would I need to change my region from Canada to US? If I'm gonna pay the exchange rate difference from Canadian $ to US $, I might as well pay the $114.99 Canadian $, eh!?
At 🤬 Microsoft, there's never anything simple and properly .... scripted. 🤬

So why the hell do you complain? You pay the same price as the Americans. Try 82 pounds, which is the price of UE in the UK.

Pre-order bonus at EB Games Australia.

So, I'm kind of torn on this choice; I don't have an XB1, so I was going to grab the Forza 6 special edition on Sep 15 (preordered). The reason is that I'm buying the Xbox specifically for Horizon 2 and Forza 6, and all of the other current 1TB bundles are the same price, with free-game choices that don't really interest me all that much.

So either I spend an extra $90 on the Ultimate edition and end up with a standard XB1 and an extra game (and maybe an extra wired controller), or the Forza 6 XB1 with only the standard edition of the game, and the need to buy all of the additional DLC. Hmm.

I would go with the Forza 6 XB1 1tb thats what i did best deal and great looking xbox one and controller.

Either could work for you. Have you played any of the Forza games before? If you haven't, going the Ultimate route would be a bit of a gamble. I did it back in 2011 with FM4 and was seriously impressed, but YMMV. If you're able to find any pre-paid XBL cards for cheap, those could get you all the stuff you're missing out on from the Ultimate edition (except the early access).

Personally, I can't stand the sound effects on the special FM console, so I'd never consider it. If you get one of the other bundles, you can always sell off the game it comes with if it doesn't interest you. If a bundle includes an extra controller, I'd probably go for that, in all honesty.

I think he hit his head walking into his igloo.

And what is the purpose of your replies?
The dude definitely hit his head on his igloo. :ouch:

Since when is asking a 🤬 question is considered a complaint?

A troller a day, keeps the 🤬 ..? I forgot the rest. :dunce:

I have played a little bit of FM5, and was really impressed with the sound especially. The customization looks great too, and the car list for FM6 is excellent...the DLC sucks, but I can deal with that. Also, I've switched over to a control layout in GT6 that is almost identical to the standard Forza layout, so crossing over shouldn't be that bad.

I'll probably go with the fresh-looking blue one, tbh. :) That way if I like it, I can add the DLC.
