I think my PSN user has told you guys that I chat with who for a long time. (SEN now)

Also Jenson though and Alonso and Webber over Vettel. However, I am more in the group who want to see a close on the edge of your seat battle to the end like 2010.

Even if you don't like the guy, wouldn't more drivers on front running teams lead to a better championship battle? I feel the same way as you do only with Alonso but I hope he is in top form along with his Ferrari so the title battle will be interesting.

If you asked me two years ago I'd say the same thing that I hope Alonso doesn't do good, but I think his attitude has changed alot since the days of Renault and McLaren. A more positive take. Now days I just cant stand Massa.

I'll be supporting Button, Hamilton and McLaren again. I'll be honest, I like Vettel, but I just don't want to support the team that wins almost every single race. I'm kinda rooting for the underdog, if you will.

I'm a Mclaren fan since 1997...
I've always "cheered for" (is it correct ?) Mika and Kimi, but when Alonso went to McLaren I started cheering for him.. and since then all my support goes for him :D FORZA ALONSOOOOO

Can I ask just one question, I'm curious about something since some of you seems to like Felipe Massa, what do you like in him ? I can understand for alonso/hamilton/vettel/button/schumacher/rosberg/raikkonen even if among them there's driver I really dont like but for Massa I just dont see it. Anyone mind answering to me ?

This is not an attack nor anything I just dont know any Massa fan around me and want to understand.

I'm no Massa fan-boy, but it's easy for any real motorsports enthusiast to sympathize with him.

1) He came within a whisker of winning the Championship, but was denied at the last hurdle.
2) He suffered a terrible head injury, and since has struggled to make a full comeback.
3) He sometimes struggles to keep pace driving a Ferrari, and sometimes Alonso struggles with it too. We instinctively want Ferrari and their drivers to excel.
4) He is a simple, friendly soul without the political causes and emotional hysteria of some of these other prima donna racers.

Respectfully submitted,
Steve

Agree with Steve there completely. The exact reasons I support him.

I really want Massa to make a comeback and win the championship, but I think Webber deserves it more.

Voted for Schumacher. Because there was never another driver giving me so much excitement in F1 and therefore I would love to see him winning the championship one more and the last time.

After him following order:

Nico Rosberg: He's a nice chap and a great driver, he deserve's the title.

Nico Hülkenberg: As above.

Vettel: He's German and a cool guy. Wait a sec...they're all German...what a totally biased bitch I am...

I'm still backing Alonso.

He's got another WDC in him.

And what about Timo Glock?

I have never found Schumacher exciting to watch. Sure, he's a great racer and his record speaks for itself and he has driven in some outstanding races and given outstanding drives, but I just never felt the urge to watch Schumacher. I'd always prefer to watch Hakkinen or Irvine and in retrospect, Berger and Alesi.

No Glock...hm, he never really impressed me. As for Schumi, I started watching F1 around where he started to win a lot. (2000)

Jenson Button. Had the privelage of meeting him once. It was kinda funny. My GF was trying to get his autograph all day and failed. I just so happened to walk past Brawns tent while he was signing stuff at the end of the day. So i got it, making her jealous. He was driving for Brawn at the time and i was the only person with a Mclaren hat. He joked about not signing it but he did anyways.

I cheer for a number of drivers:

Of the frontrunners (The big 3, Red Bull, Ferrari and Mclaren i.e. the only teams to have won a race in the past 2 years):
Button, Alonso

Of the midfield teams:
Kobayashi, Hulkenberg

From the Backmarker teams (Caterham, Marussia and HRT)
Kovalainen, Glock

I also look forward to Raikkonen's performances but I think he will struggle unless Lotus come out with a car worthy of challenging for podiums and keep up with the development race.

My favourite is Button but if he's to perform Mclaren need to up their game. Towards the end of last season they did but now the game has been reset and they have to do it all over again; they can't win a championship if they start on the backfoot as by the time their developments come through Red Bull will have already won. If Ferrari are the pacesetters I think nobody has a realistic chance against Alonso. Despite being hot-headed at times Alonso I believe is the strongest driver on the grid overall (Only beats out Button due to his ability to work around problems with the car that Button constantly complains about).

I voted Romain Grosjean because I was annoyed that Kimi had 10 votes and Romain had 0. My actual favorite driver is Jenson Button, but I can't let Autosport influence you all into thinking Kimi is a million times better then Romain!

(I do like Kimi as well - more then Romain - but I need to go against Autosprt here!)

A drunken F1 WDC who likes to grab the odd ice cream and fall off some boats isn't really a surprising choice compared to a driver who messed up his career and has got a second chance. Considering this is the internet and people like the sillies, I'm not surprised that boring choices like Grosjean, Di Resta, Hulkenburg and Glock have suffered on the poll.

Maybe Im also a drunk because when I was his age I did like to go to parties and discos on a friday or a saturday night and drink a couple of screwdrivers. Im just sorry Im not famous... because in my book it's better to be a famous drunk than to be an anonymous alcoholic. Whatever they do with their personal lives didnt influence my vote... and I voted for Button.

Räikkönen and Kovalainen. Not just because I'm finnish, but because I want to see how Räikkönen will fare now as he's back and I'm all behind Caterham as a team since I love Caterhams. Of all the 'small teams' I want Caterham to succeed.

Hamilton, as usual. I'm a McLaren fan, though I do like Ferrari (until they brought out that hideous car). The new McLaren is beautiful!

To challenge for the title i will be behind Webber all the way, but highly doubt he will do it.
But other driver's i am rooting for are, kimi, Kamui and Ricciardo. I would also be going for Senna, but he hasn't shown any brilliance yet, he has been very conservative in the races, and not very exciting.

I want Button to win, but I'm much more interested in what goes on further down the field. I'd like Hulk and DiResta to start being a threat to the top teams, and I'd like Kobayashi and Perez to start being a threat to Renault, FI and Merc. And I'd like to see Grosjean beat the pants off Raikkonen just because it would be funny.

That would be hilarious. I like Grosjean, after watching a few GP2 races from last year on youtube I really think he has what it takes. I didn't really see much of him in 2009 apart from his crash at Spa as that season I only watched the highlights.

Because the car given to him was a car that was developed early on in the season hence the two podiums and then the quick drop off afterwards. I would say this season is the one that he has to go out and prove himself because he actually had some help developing the car and getting to work with it from the very start onward. Point is Renault made a crap car that couldn't be developed on after the first four races and for it they caved.

Let's not forget this is the same car that caught fire twice and had electronic problems as well. If Williams have taken care of the massive problems they had last year with kers and the low small gearbox/rear end, then Senna will have a car that can't be complained about and will be truely judged by fans and other teams as well as his.

👍 I love Kimi but this would be so funny. It probably won't happen, but if it it did
