Im hoping Kobayashi will pull off some entertaining overtaking manouvers this year... Just as long as its not on Hamilton.

I agree with you on the Kobayashi part, but i'll root for Button.

It would be easy to jump on the Vettel bandwagon on account of the huge success in recent years, but I'm going to stick with Lewis Hamilton. I'd kinda like to see Kimi come back and do alright, but I don't know how well Lotus (formerly Renault) is going to be this year and Kimi generally hasn't seemed to be too terribly interested following his championship win in 2007.

Vettel because I want to see him school everyone in the "mere drinks company" car once more, and Räikkönen of course. Only could pick one though so Vettel it is as he has a better chance of taking the title.

I will be cheering for Hamilton (like I have since 2007) and McLaren (Like I have since 1999)

I will be cheering against Hamilton, like I have since 2007. Time to make Jenson the number one.

One thing we can agree on, it's going to be a good struggle for dominancy in the McLaren Team.

But, I think if Hamilton is back on form then Button is never going to beat him.

I mean, if last year was Hamiltons worst year, where he won three races, one of which was before their car was fully developed, and he was also the only non Red Bull pole... If that is his worst year, it just shows how unstoppable he is when he's on form.

As long as McLaren are at the front of the grid i'll be happy. Do prefer Jenson over Lewis though, his smooth driving style and general attitude on and off the track has won me over in the past couple of seasons.

Nothing against Hamilton he's a Brit driving for my team so I want him to do well; but I think he needs to calm down and keep a cool head, both Massa and Hamilton could have taken measures to avoid what happened last season. Also, voicing your opinions on the stewards panel is probably best saved for the back room....not a BBC interview being watched by millions of people.

Looking forward to the new season regardless! 👍

My favourite drivers:

1st Massa
2nd Button
3rd Webber

Everyone calls Hamilton cocky, and bigheaded etc, but I think people have forgot what Jenson was like when he joined F1.

I vaguely remember him bringing his own brand of clothing out...

He never accused the stwards of racial decisions though :/

And then he got put in his place by the truly awful Benetton B201.

I never used to like Button, truth be told. But he's matured and grown on me as the years have gone on. He's like a good mix between Jackie Stewart and Alain Prost.

JB didn't tend to crash into people as regularly nor clashed with other drivers and the stewards too often.
Hamilton tends to build up quite a bit of dislike both on track and off it, thats the difference.

What a mature, adult, well educated opinion there.....

Says the guy with the Hamilton avatar. lol. i never sad he wasnt good, no disrespect meant to anyone here, i just hought this was a thread where we were supposed to say who we are rooting for. I like Hamiltons driving, but i enjoy rooting against him for his open disrespect of his team on the radio, but i thought we could all be mature adults here, and when someone else says they dont like your driver you could accept that. you want to start an I heart Lewis Hamilton thread go right ahead. no one is stopping you. sheesh, i dont understand fans that are too sensitive to hear other peoples critical opinions of their drivers, sports are all about rivalry, and so is this thread for that matter. Didnt think that I said anything disrespectful at all. I just happen to be more of the type of person who enjoys a villian. My favorite team in Baseball? - Couldnt say, but i like seeing the Yankees loose. Let people enjoy their sport the way they like.

He was joking... Sure it was in poor taste, but if you hold that against him, then that's pretty silly. Once he said it he knew it was a mistake, but I guess he was so annoyed...

I find it funny how people want F1 drivers to speak their mind, and now Hamilton does that, he gets hated on.

And then he got put in his place by the truly awful Benetton B201.

I agree, Button has grown on me too, but I prefer Hamilton as a driver as he is so exciting.

Before last year it wasn't too bad...

Another thing I find funny is the amount of times Senna was in crashes, most of them deliberate, and he was loved by everyone.

Hamilton gets into a couple of crashes and he is then rubbish.

No, it's the fact that he always blames it on the other person that I don't like.

Agreed.

And playing the race card was a moment of genius.

I want Massa to win the championship at the last race, by 1 point. He will then get out of the car and proceed to teabag Alonso, who will be demoted to HRT for the rest of his miserable career :) . Realistically, I want Button and Hamilton to be on great form and have great on-track battles. I don't care if it's Button or Hamilton who wins the WDC.

No, it's the fact that he always blames it on the other person that I don't like.

I agree that he did some mistake last year but it wasnt all his fault for all the crashes. And before that he was always pretty clean in my eyes. He dont always blame on others that's ********. Sure sometimes he do but most drivers do actually if you read interview of them. I dunno if you watch WTCC last year but there was quite some incident between Muller and Huff and both were saying it was the others fault. That's racing.

I like agressive driver like him, always have, Senna, Mansell were like that in my eyes too, good agressive drivers. Sure sometimes they do mistake and screw up but that's part of racing.

I don't have a short term memory. I'm not just talking about last year. Hamilton has been blaming others for his mistakes since before 2011.
