I wasnt ill since 7 years, unfortunately I have got medicore salmonella and I fell pretty shi**y right now - literally.
I'll stay away from seafood for the next two lifes for sure....:indiff:

My little brother is, and I'm in the stride of getting what he has myself... I should have never agreed to finish his Montreal bagel, regardless of how good it was!

First, I got a sore throat for 2 weeks, then that went away, and now I have a runny nose. I don't really care, because I got the Orange Box.

I was sick over Thanksgiving and my birthday, so I don't plan on being for Christmas either. We'll see, apparently my brother may be getting sick...

I'm not trying to brag, but I rarely ever get sick, at least not to the point where I just want to take the day off and get some rest.

I feigned illness for a lot of middle school, though, thanks to what must be a high body temperature -- it almost always showed up as 99 point something on the thermometer, and on the days where I was lucky, my mom would consider that high enough  (note: I also like the cold, and can't stand temperatures over 75 degrees).

The worst was when I spent nearly a week with a temperature up near 104 (and sometimes over), once.

I don't know how but I guess it wasn't that bad. Usually if I have a fever (which I did) that automatically means it's going to be a bad one and that I'll be out for at least 3 days or so.

Seems like I'm over this one already.

I am already recovering as well; it was more mental than physical, but there were some moments when I just couldn't manage anything. Other than that, I too rarely get sick.

Cool, I thought it was going to be that much worse of an Xmas in the beginning of this one. As for me it was definitely physical, mental... I don't know how I'd think myself into it. lol

I just got sick with a stomach bug yesterday. It lasted 24 hours and I feel fine now, luckily. I was throwing up really bad though. I think Applebees did it.
My parents thought I might have to go to the hospital if it got worse, because last time I got sick like that it was from swelling i my brain. Luckily it appears this is just a normal sickness, possibly food poisoning.

I know that is a old thread but I was wondering about running a fever vs having dehydration. Two days ago, I almost threw up what I just ate at olive garden ( I am not blaming the cook) and I called work that I was sick but I notice that my temperature is around 100 degrees Fahrenheit that day. Though I slept through most of that friday and saturday. Though I don't think that my condition has got any better..So far I have notice:
My back aches
my temperature is somewhat hot/warm
I woke up with a dry mouth
I puked only once
and I have a headache
Sadly, I don't have any money to go see the doctor since I do have medical insurance and can't deal with the co pay till friday. Though I have to start work tomorrow and I am trying to see what I actually have...so far my temp is 99 fahrenheit

You'd be puking a lot more than once or twice if it was food poisoning. Hydrating yourself never hurts, either.

I've had a pretty bad cold all weekend, and honestly this is the sickest I've been in years (as in I haven't been sick in years). Drank both nights this weekend anyway pretty hard, so I didn't let it hold me back. Honestly I don't think the drinking hurt that much as I was going until 6am sat night, and woke up sunday feeling much better than I was on saturday

I managed to get a finger infection and only noticed when my finger had got to twice its size.

No I'm not sick. I usually don't get sick even around other sick people. It would be that everyone else is suffering from a cold but I would be fine. Whenever my throat gets rough I'd drink some water to prevent some sickness. It's a pretty good reason why I made through my last year of high school without absences(I even attended on senior skip day, which is a unofficial date of course).
