Who here drives manual?

Manual every time. Even with the formula cars I still use manual (I. did so many laps of Fuji in GT5 with the F2007 it's easy now). I hate it when it switches to Automatic for all cars after using a go kart or an electric car.

I laugh at people using auto.
Sometimes I even kick them for using it (since I host rooms with the name "NO AIDS/AUTO/ABS" most of the time).

Sometimes when I turn on and start racing it will default to auto. The race will start and on in the first gear shift I'll be like, WTF !!! I don't even try auto cuz my fingers and mind gets bored. Although there are many 3 button racers out there, it's easier for me to respect the skill of the shifter. IMO 3 button racers don't know what it feels like to really push the car to the edge and squeeze out every little spec of power by choice. No disrespect to 3br's cuz some of u are really good, but u could be better if u take the time to learn IMO. Just my $.02.

Manual since the old NFS days. In the beginning, I was inspired to switch over to manual transmission because my dad used to do all these "cool and exciting" tricks while driving. I couldn't replicate it in NFS, but I surely did pretend!

I use manual on the wheel, auto on the controller (which is rarely). I also like to use the clutch and H-Pattern on more casual races. I generally adjust the aids to be as accurate to the car as possible.

Manual, It annoys me when the car shifts by itself in GT5 (ie; when drifting or drag racing etc)
