Rotary power rules.

Other than the fact they flood if you:
Let them idle for more than two minutes
Try to start them in -20F
Don't hit 7K rpm at least once in a 5 mile drive
And let's not forget having to rev it up to 5K rpm in the parking lot before you turn it off. Many people have looked at me like I was insane.

This coming from a former RX-8 owner.

Plus they burn oil like a cummins turbo diesel.

What is the reason for revving it to turn it off?

Btw, the Fokker Dr.I as example, which was flown by the famous red baron, used a rotary engine too, but not this one though.

Cannot believe this got this far... No, was joking that the horrendous exhaust sounds of every rotary-engined car in this game but the 787B are what caused this glitch...

What negative could possibly be said about a race engine thats hand rebuilt before and after a race? Nothing at all! The 787B and its engine are works of art.

But a rotary engine in an otherwise reliable japanese road car, expected to last 300k, well, to reiterate, HA-HA

After Qualifying and Training maybe. Like in the good old F1 times (although the often simply used a new engine - that's what I call a waste )
