has anyone noticed there are tons of Mazda races (SE, A Spec...) and different models or years repeated repeated again, I mean other cars like z4 M couple NEVER get anything like that.

Miata's have a real life spec series, and are incredibly popular enthusiast cars.

Go onto any given (non brand specific) car forum and ask for an affordable fun car for track, autocross, or just driving around. After being told to "search noob" you'll get dozens of people saying "miata". Jalopnik.com often measures other cars in units of "how many miatas could I buy for that".

Still no reason to ignore the other cars in the game, but this has been discussed to death here resulting in flame wars and locked threads.

Compared to his BMW z4M example? I'd say yes it is. The miata has been around since 89 or so, and the sales are up around 900,000. If you include the Z3 M it dates to 98, other the Z4 M goes back to something like 06?

There is no dedicated race series for the M coupe, if there is I haven't heard of it.

There's no need to have 3 dozen variants of the miata, but there is reason to have more of them than the Z4, and have an event for them.

However, I would of course love to have a BMW event or two.

Ignore the Z example, bottom line man its a game and they could have added many more A spec series, hell they even threw Miata races in one of the bonus race updates. Like I said these items have been discussed to death here.

Then it should be a BMW event surrounding the M3. I never liked the Z4, it seems it tries too hard to be fun in comparison to the S2000 or Miata.

I think its very safe to assume that Mazda paid PD alot of money or made some contract clauses like "if you want to include our race cars, you have to add this and that race" for those Miata races...

Yeah, its so sad that one of our 9 enduro events is wasted for a 4 hour Miata race around Tsubaka.
Oh wait, this is a japanese game and obviously there are more people who love to race a Miata for 4 hours then racing several hours at Lemans with race cars from the 60s and 70s.

Hmm thinking about your first point...the 787b is SWEEEEEEEET tho.

why are most of the RMs are chevys?

Best bang for the buck is my guess. That, and everyone is grinding at Indy one point or another and since the word on the street is that the RM Chevy is the best car to use, the hordes will use it.

The OP asked why there were more miata events than BMW M Coupe events. I gave a very reasonable explanation. If the topic is "why are there so many japanese cars" that's a different discussion.

As I said, more manufacturer or model specific events would only be a good thing. Though I think the M coupe is the only modern BMW I'd ever want, even then I'd want the old Z3 version. I do like the mazda and honda more though 👍

Actually OP said "I mean other cars like z4 M couple NEVER get anything like that. " Sounds more like a quick example off the top of the head instead of naming every roadster in that class that could form a race series. But OP can clarify if we need to get that detailed about this game and its limited amount of A spec events.

I too enjoyed the Miata 4 hour Enduro, until my cat has to pull my PS3 cable out... :grumpy:

Enjoy it again :D
But the most enjoyable enduro was definitely Nurb 4 hours, ignore the fact that the F1 bit is there of course and it becomes a very very enjoyable drive.
Bring an underpowered car :)
I wouldn't mind losing to first by 0.001 seconds there :D

I have yet to try that, I shall be doing it today. :D
bad kitty!

He is only 6 months old, maybe he wants to play GT5.

So.... I could say 'Why isn't there any events for the Suzuki Cervo SR?!' or 'Why are there no events for the Volvo C30?!' I could say the same for cars like the Infiniti G35, the Tesla Roadster or the Lancia Delta. It's because there isn't. Just get on with your life. Can't find an event for the Z4M Coupé? Make one up.
Do a one-make race, make a few friends and race online in similar cars, or take photos of it. Find a way to enjoy the car and don't complain about it. Besides, the seasonals could give you a surprise and cough up a Z4M race. Just wait and see.

They need the RM to keep up with the other cars.

Mazda is a pretty prevalent racing company and this is a japanese company making the game. Id much rather drive and tune the miata than 900 or so of the cars in this game. I'm just glad only one seasonal has used the prius. What a waste of a car slot.

Or it's because on any given day there are more Mazda's being raced than any other manufacture of car, this is a fact. See GT5 is realistic!
